Hey darlings! 💅💋 It's your favourite pink tutu-clad queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here! Today, I'm bursting with excitement because I'm writing this blog post straight from Ashton! 🎉 I've just finished a spectacular performance at the local fair, and oh my goodness, those Ashton folk know how to party! 🤩 They were absolutely thrilled to see a pink tutu twirling in their midst! 💃💖
Now, I know what you're thinking, "Ashton, Pink Tutu? What a wild combo!" Well, I have a secret: I love a good adventure! 😄 And what's more adventurous than traveling to a new place, meeting new faces, and spreading the joy of pink tutus wherever I go? 💕 Ashton wasn't exactly on my usual itinerary, but a friend who lives there begged me to join her for the fair. I always say, "Why say no to a new adventure?" 😉 And let me tell you, Ashton did not disappoint!
It's such a quaint town with charming little shops and pubs that you can easily spend a whole day exploring. And they even have a cute little theatre! 🎭 I simply adore those small town theatres, they always have a cozy, intimate atmosphere. Speaking of which, I managed to snag tickets to a ballet performance that evening! A proper ballet, not a "ballet-inspired" number I get to perform on stage at fairs and markets. 😂 You bet I sported a fancy, sparkling new tutu for the occasion. It was so inspiring to see professional ballerinas in action, all twirling and leaping with such grace. ✨
Now, as you all know, getting to my various gigs is part of the fun for me. And for this particular adventure, I chose a truly classic mode of transport - a horse-drawn carriage! 🐎 It wasn't exactly what you'd call eco-friendly, but oh my gosh, it was such a magical experience. Ashton is really known for its green spaces and lovely countryside, so cruising along at a leisurely pace felt like I was in a fairytale! 🎠 The whole ride was such a delight - a far cry from the train journeys I usually endure to get to my gigs in cities! 😅
You know, it still amazes me how many people's eyes light up when they see me in my pink tutu! Even the seasoned residents of Ashton couldn't help but smile and chuckle when I shimmied down the fairground in all my sparkly glory. 🤩 They love a good spectacle! It always makes me happy to bring a bit of colour and whimsy into people's days, and in a place like Ashton, it feels particularly rewarding. It's easy to feel like you're living in the 1950s in these little English towns. They even have a traditional baker who's still doing home deliveries in his little van. 🥖 It really is something out of a book, almost like it's been transported from another time. 🕰
Oh, and the fair food! 🍟 You could smell the delicious scent of hot dogs, churros, and ice cream as soon as you stepped onto the fairground. The kids were in their element, shrieking with delight on the rides and clutching handfuls of candy floss. 🎡🎠🍭 And you know what, it’s absolutely wonderful seeing that joy! It reminds me that there’s still a bit of child in all of us. ❤️ So if you ever happen to find yourself in Ashton, don’t forget to indulge in a delicious, greasy treat! 😋
