Rutherglen, Here I Come! πŸ©°πŸ’–

Oh darlings! It's your favourite pink tutu-clad, sparkle-loving diva, Pink Tutu Sparkles, back with another blog post! πŸŽ‰ And guess what? This fabulous femme fatale is off on another adventure!

Packing my glitter suitcase, I'm heading to the lovely town of Rutherglen, just a short train journey from my Derbyshire base. I just can't wait to grace the stage with my presence, dazzling the audience with my dazzling dance routines!

My little pink tutu has already chosen my outfit, and let me tell you, it's absolutely fabulous. Imagine a vibrant pink tutu that sparkles like a million stars, paired with a silky, fuchsia blouse and a matching pink bolero jacket that wouldn't look out of place in a ballet studio. Of course, I wouldn't dare forget my signature cherry red heels and dazzling tiara! ✨

I absolutely love getting to perform in different places, exploring new towns and meeting new faces. There's something truly magical about travelling by train, gazing out the window at the passing scenery, lost in my own world of pink tulle and dazzling dreams. This time, I'm hoping to find a lovely horse-drawn carriage ride too, perhaps after the performance?

You know, darlings, my life is full of sparkles, and there's a lot more than just pink tutus and glitter involved. Don't let that glamorous façade fool you. By day, I'm a scientist, surrounded by beakers and test tubes. I love working with fabrics, testing them for strength and durability, using all my science knowledge! My colleagues know all about my nightly escapades, and we have lots of fun exchanging stories over a cuppa in the lab.

My passion for the lab stems from my days as a university student. Back then, I was immersed in the world of science, surrounded by equations and formulas, but something else stole my heart: ballet. 🩰 I joined the university's ballet club and even took the stage, performing in the annual production. Remember, darling? That's where I fell for my very first pink tutu!

My journey from shy student to fabulous drag queen was born out of that charity dance performance, where I twirled and twirled in that iconic tutu. From then on, I knew my true purpose was to spread the love for pink tutus! I love it when people get excited by my acts, especially when children are genuinely captivated by the joy of dressing up!

To say that this journey hasn't been without its challenges would be a lie. But I firmly believe that life is meant to be lived on a stage! That's why I've been working hard to fund my adventures, performing in any venue or fair I can, turning those frowns upside down with my pink tutu energy. It takes a lot of commitment to become the drag artist I am today, but I wouldn't trade this life for the world. And I definitely wouldn't trade my pink tutu, my best friend in sequins and tulle! πŸ’–

So, if you're in the area, do come down to Rutherglen and say hi! You can catch me performing at the [venue name], and believe me, it's going to be a spectacular show you don't want to miss. We'll be laughing, we'll be singing, we'll be dancing and maybe, just maybe, you might even see me twirl a bit! πŸ’–

Stay sparkling, my dears,

Pink Tutu Sparkles
