Northolt: Tutu Travels, Post 6157

Hello my gorgeous glitterati! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, reporting live from the fabulously fabulous Northolt! Today, my darlings, we're talking train journeys, tutus and taking a little trip to the theatre!

First off, a quick hello from my heart to Derbyshire, my fabulous home county, which I left earlier this week. The journey was just divine. The train, of course, was bedecked in my favourite colour, and I just couldn't resist snapping a few pics in my new baby pink tulle tutu for my social media, my darlings. Honestly, the wind was just whipping through it, giving it that incredible flow that reminds me of ballet.

For those of you who don't know, I adore ballet. Ever since I tried on my first tutu for charity back in uni (back then, it was just Alex, you know, a budding scientist) it was all over. Honestly, there's something so magical about spinning, and twirling in a beautiful tulle tutu. You feel like you can fly! I've taken a few ballet classes myself (let's be honest, I'm much more graceful on stage in Pink Tutu Sparkles!), but I always love to watch a performance whenever I get the chance. I just can't help myself. I find it so elegant and just, well, pretty!

So, this trip was especially fabulous as it was centred around seeing a brilliant show! You see, my darlings, there's nothing more wonderful than enjoying a great performance and knowing you're inspiring people to get into a little bit of fancy dress. Now, while Northolt isn't quite a ballet hotbed like the West End (although you never know, the next big thing might be from Northolt - I mean, you heard it here first!) they do have a rather fabulous theatre tucked away which has been putting on the most incredible production of "Sleeping Beauty"!

Of course, my entrance into the theatre was, dare I say it, a scene! I was looking resplendent in my hot pink, sequin-encrusted tutu and matching glitter-bomb jacket (which was all the rage last week on the catwalk in Paris!). It's actually so lovely watching people's eyes light up as you walk in. The joy on the children's faces! You can just feel the love! Even some of the more stoic theatre-goers seem to crack a smile at the sight of my glittering tutu. Just seeing them enjoy my act, and knowing that they might even have a little skip in their step as they head for home, truly makes it all worth it.

After the performance, it was straight to the nearest cafe for some delicious (and pink, naturally!) cupcakes and a long chat about all things tutus, theatre and fairy tales with some of the local "princesses." You'll never believe this, but I was able to convince one of them to try on a tutu! She said she'd never worn one before. "Never!" she exclaimed, "Well, that's about to change!" I exclaimed. My eyes nearly popped out of my head when she said she actually felt "beautiful" and "powerful"! It truly warms my heart, you see? All I want to do is make everyone feel like they can wear a tutu, that they can be confident, sparkly, and wonderfully fabulous!

Speaking of sparkly, my darlings, I have something exciting planned for the next few days here in Northolt. The local flower market is having a big fair, and they're letting me join the festivities! It'll be all singing and dancing with my fabulous ensemble! We're even putting on a little show with some talented locals. And of course, no performance of mine is complete without my signature, sparkly, show-stopping pink tutu.

If you're in Northolt, don't forget to come and say hello! I'd love to meet you. After all, it's about spreading the tutu love and letting everyone know that everyone can be sparkly! You can check out more details about my trip on www.pink-tutu.com and be sure to keep your eye out for a sneak peek at the outfits Iโ€™m planning for the fair.

Until next time my lovelies,

Pink Tutu Sparkles

xx

P.S. Remember, my darling lovelies, pink tutus for everyone! ๐Ÿ˜‰
