But first, a quick journey update for my Tutu Angels: I decided to embrace the romance of travel this time and journeyed to Frome by train! It’s so relaxing watching the scenery whizz by, plus, the journey always seems to spark my imagination! 🚆 As a seasoned traveller, my trusty Louis Vuitton suitcase and a hefty bag of glitter, of course, came along for the ride, ready to transform me into my dazzling best. ✨
Now, before I spill all the Frome fun, let's catch up on my fabulous fashion. You see, a proper queen never leaves the house without her signature tutu – especially when exploring Somerset! 💁♀️ So, for this trip, I’ve picked a bright fuchsia masterpiece with shimmering sequins that reflect all the colours of a setting sun. Paired with a pastel pink bomber jacket (it's surprisingly versatile!) and sparkling, heart-shaped earrings, I feel like a modern day ballerina ready to pirouette through life.
Frome is such a delight – full of independent shops, hidden alleys, and a gorgeous market! Honestly, you wouldn’t believe the sheer amount of colour and sparkle here, a dream for any fabulous soul like myself. 🌸
I’m particularly in love with the town’s iconic clocktower! It reminds me of a princess’s tower from my favourite childhood fairy tales. And imagine my delight when I discovered a little vintage shop called ‘The Tutu Fairy’! My heart fluttered! 💖 Inside, they had the most exquisite collection of vintage tutus – all in the most beautiful colours. I bought myself a stunning baby pink tutu adorned with silk ribbons – just picture it! You know, my aim is to get everyone in a pink tutu! One pink tutu at a time. 🌸
And let me tell you, my darlings, the food in Frome is to die for! I’ve been spoilt rotten with freshly-baked pastries, mouthwatering cheese and charcuterie platters, and the most delectable local produce. Honestly, every meal is like a culinary masterpiece, a feast for the senses. 🍎🍓🧀
And speaking of feasts, tonight is my performance at Frome's historic town hall! They've been holding events there for centuries and, as soon as I heard they were doing a ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ themed night, I knew I had to be there. Tonight, I’m channeling my inner celestial being and I'm planning a shimmering constellation of moves, darling! It’ll be a dazzling affair that's guaranteed to send everyone into a glittery frenzy! 🌠

Hello lovelies, I’m Alex, the human behind the glitter! 💖 As some of you may know, by day, I’m a scientist. Yep, I actually spend my time in a lab, analyzing fabric and making sure it’s top quality! However, when the clock strikes five, I transform into Pink Tutu Sparkles!
My love for tutus started back in university. I was part of the ballet club, and one day, we had a fundraising event where they sold pink tutus for a good cause. You could say I fell head-over-heels! ✨ I realized how fun and empowering it felt, not just for me, but for everyone. It was just something magical and I’ve been hooked ever since!
When I'm not on stage, I love immersing myself in ballet, taking classes and attending shows. Seeing ballerinas grace the stage in their ethereal costumes fills me with so much inspiration. And let me tell you, the energy at those shows is something truly special. 💖 It's the perfect balance to my daily work in the lab – just imagine me coming in, lab coat on, but with a secret twinkle in my eye! ✨
I always try to find new and interesting places to travel and perform.
