So, I woke up this morning feeling absolutely divine, all thanks to my dreamy pink silk dressing gown and the glorious sunrise painting the Derbyshire sky with a beautiful rosy hue. 🌄 Yep, even before the glitter and the eyelashes, this girl is feeling good!
As you know, I am a total train enthusiast - there's just something so romantic and elegant about journeying across the countryside on those trusty iron horses. Especially when you're dressed in your most fabulous outfit, of course! 🚂
This trip to Colchester was a must. My beautiful Tutu Sister, Cherry Blossom Bliss, sent me a lovely message telling me how the Colchester audiences are just dying for a Pink Tutu Sparkles performance! (She even sent me a sneak peek of some pink sparkly posters featuring yours truly all over the town square - the excitement is REAL!) ✨
This meant, naturally, a wardrobe change was absolutely necessary! And it wouldn't be a proper Pink Tutu Sparkles travel day without my signature pink tutu! (This one's a brand new vintage find with little delicate pink tulle butterflies. So very chic!) 🎀 The sparkly platform shoes I snagged from the online marketplace last week were calling to be paired with the perfect fluffy pink cardigan I discovered tucked away in my "vintage finds" treasure chest! 🥰 And you just know that no outfit is complete without a little shimmer. So, my lucky little butterfly charm bracelet made an appearance as well! ✨
The Essex Adventures Begin!
Arriving in Colchester was a total dream. The town is quaint and beautiful, full of historic buildings, quirky shops, and charming cafes - perfect for a spot of afternoon tea, naturally! 🍰 I'm completely besotted!
And guess what else I discovered? A stunning little ballet studio right next to my hotel! I simply had to pop in for a little practice session before my big performance. After all, even the most sparkly tutu needs a bit of training! 😉
Ready, Set, Sparkle!
Tonight, Colchester is ready to get lit with Pink Tutu Sparkles! The performance at The Grand Hotel is a beautiful Victorian-era building with gorgeous chandeliers and sparkling floors. Just imagine, you guys - the setting is already giving me so many dramatic entrances and exciting choreography ideas!
The air is buzzing with excitement. My amazing make-up artist has worked her magic, turning me into the fabulous, shimmering goddess that you all know and love! And the energy in the dressing room is incredible! I can almost hear the roar of the crowd. 🥰
The spotlight shines down, the music begins...and Pink Tutu Sparkles takes to the stage, ready to dazzle Colchester with a performance that will have everyone saying, "Pink tutus? YES PLEASE!"
After the Show: A Night of Celebration!
You guys, the show was absolutely incredible! Colchester embraced me with open arms, the cheers of the crowd were electric, and my signature dazzling tutu moves went down a storm! 👑 The entire night was pure magic, from the glitter bomb finale (sorry, not sorry, audience! 😉 ) to the incredible bouquet of pink roses I received. 🌹 It was just what my heart needed after the day's adventures!

My darling, sweet Tutu sisters, this adventure was a total blast! Colchester stole my heart. But more than that, I truly believe I made a difference there.
