Helloooo darlings! Your girl, Pink Tutu Sparkles, is back, and this time we’re taking a trip to Kent – specifically, the charming town of Chatham!
Now, I know what you’re thinking – "Chatham? Not exactly the glamorous metropolis, darling, is it?". And you know, I wouldn’t disagree, but for me, glamour is all about the sparkle, the joy, and finding magic in the most unexpected places!
The journey down to Chatham was already an adventure. As you know, I have a thing for horses, and being the queen of travel, I simply had to travel in style. So, this time, instead of the usual high-speed train journey, I hopped aboard a delightful old carriage pulled by a magnificent pair of grays. I felt like I'd stepped straight out of a Jane Austen novel – but with a fab pink tutu, of course!
Chatham greeted me with sunshine and smiles, and let me tell you, my love for pink was met with so much enthusiasm – pink blossoms peeking from the gardens, the pink candy floss being sold at the local market, and even a pink flamingo in a window display. It was like the town itself had a little touch of Tutu magic.
The highlight of my trip was, without a doubt, the grand opening of the Chatham Theatre’s latest production. Oh my god, darlings, this theatre was breathtaking – a beautiful historic building, so grand, yet full of so much character. It even had a balcony, you see – perfect for a glamorous entrance in my bespoke fuchsia pink tulle masterpiece with a dazzlingly fluffy feathers and diamanté design!
My performance went down a storm! They say “laughter is the best medicine”, and by golly, I sure did deliver! My dance routine (inspired by the choreography of a brilliant local ballet school!) included pirouettes, arabesques, and yes, even a few very impressive leaps. I really do love bringing that magical, whimsical tutu vibe to stages across the country, spreading joy and smiles in equal measure.

This trip to Chatham was the perfect dose of sunshine and giggles. I’ve even discovered a local dance shop tucked away on a charming side street. They have an amazing collection of tutus – even in pink! I managed to score myself a beautiful pale pink ballerina tutu – oh darling, it's going to be amazing for my next performance.
So, what’s next for the Pink Tutu Sparkles? Well, I'm already planning a little trip up to Scotland – maybe I'll even venture up to the Highlands!
