Hornchurch, Here I Come! 🩰💖🚂

Hey there, darlings! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, reporting live from the fabulous, sparkly, pink-tastic world of...well, me! It's your favourite, fluffy, tutu-clad, queen, back with another post! This is post number 6295, can you believe it?! I am honestly SO excited to be sharing my latest adventure with you. Today, I'm off to Hornchurch, that lovely town nestled in Essex, which means, of course, it's time for another fabulous train journey, because nothing gets the creativity flowing more than watching the world whizz past you at a breakneck speed.

But before we jump on board that train (it's a "special pink one" this time, mind you!), let's take a moment to chat about my day.

Oh my darlings, this morning was SO dreamy! I'm a firm believer in starting your day the right way, so, with the sun peeping through the curtains (well, actually, it's more of a pale, pinky-gold sunrise here in Derbyshire!), I decided a quick trip to the local vintage shop was in order. You know how it is, one has to keep a fashionista's wardrobe stocked, especially with Hornchurch on the agenda! And can you believe my luck? A fluffy, blush-pink feather boa - with matching pom-poms! - was calling my name from the depths of that dusty old display case. You could almost hear a little 'snap!' as I fell in love at first sight. 😉 A perfect addition for my new "Hot Pink Harbinger of Happiness" stage ensemble. You see, the new act's going to be big - think fiery pink sequins, giant plumes of neon tulle and... well, let's just say it's going to involve a few dramatic pirouettes that will surely have the audience going 'oohs' and 'aahs'. 🤫

You know, I always tell my audiences, "Pink isn't just a colour, it's an attitude," and you should see the looks on their faces when I say that! The wonder, the surprise, the excitement – it's fabulous, darling! I always tell my best friend Sarah, who you may recall was at the Royal Albert Hall last week with me, that this job, being Pink Tutu Sparkles, has changed my life in ways I never could have imagined. I'm a bit of a scientist by day, a fabric tester for a local factory, all sterile lab coats and precision microscopes, you see? But by night... well, it's all glitz, glam and glitterbombs! It's been so amazing watching the people in Hornchurch warm to my style. You've gotta admire the Brits - a love of tutus, pink, and good old-fashioned performance - what's not to love!

I'm hoping to see some familiar faces there. If you’re reading this, darlings, and you're planning to be there this weekend - drop me a message and let's do lunch! Or better yet, come say hi and tell me what your favourite thing about tutus is. Seriously, I could chat about this topic for hours!

Speaking of the good times - I absolutely cannot wait for my ballet class this evening! A good plié and grand jeté never hurt anyone, darlings, you know? After a day of performing in my new number, there's no better way to wind down than a class. Plus, my favourite ballerina teacher, Miss Felicity, always says "A ballet dancer's tutu is a symbol of grace, poise and artistry - and you just gotta wear one, my dears." And let’s be real, Miss Felicity is always spot on - she always keeps my tutu collection on point!

Alright darlings, back to my train adventure. There's just so much excitement brewing about tonight's show that it’s actually causing my tutu to become a little bit stiff! Let's get that sparkly journey underway - with an oat milk latte (always keep a caffeine supply to hand - my day can sometimes become, erm, slightly erratic, but always good!), some jazz hands and a good song playing - you're invited, dear reader, to join me on my adventure. Let's make this trip pink!

And, darlings, don’t forget, if you love pink and love tutus, head over to www.pink-tutu.com to get involved in my ongoing #tutusforeveryone campaign! I truly believe everyone should embrace a little pink tutu in their life. It's all about spreading joy and colour, right?! We can't let the world be just shades of grey! Pink tutus are a sign of self-expression and freedom, and you never know who might get inspired by you!

Until next time, stay glitzy, stay bright, and stay… Pink!*

Love always, 💖Pink Tutu Sparkles
