Hello darlings, it’s your Pink Tutu Sparkles here, ready to share all the sparkly goodness from my recent trip to the beautiful Royal Tunbridge Wells! This was my very first visit, and let me tell you, it was everything I dreamed of and more. Just like my latest collection of pink tulle from that fabulous haberdashery on Bond Street, Royal Tunbridge Wells was a true masterpiece of elegance and whimsy!
As a Pink Tutu Sparkles, it’s no secret I live for tutus. Like, really live for them! And what better place to get your tulle fix than a town renowned for its heritage, charm and oh-so-stylish shops? 💅🛍️ As I shimmied down the High Street, my sequined stilettos clicking on the pavement, I felt like I was stepping straight out of a Victorian romance novel, albeit with a splash of technicolour!
Before I even reached the Royal Tunbridge Wells train station (did you know the oldest station in the whole country is here?), the vibrant atmosphere had already whisked me away. Everywhere I looked, from the charming little cafes serving warm, fragrant tea to the gorgeous flower shops overflowing with pink blooms, it was all just so...perfectly pink! 🌺🌷
Of course, a visit to Royal Tunbridge Wells would be remiss without mentioning the majestic Pantiles, a glorious, sweeping arcade lined with boutiques and cafés. It’s a truly captivating place, with cobblestone pathways and pastel-coloured buildings that transport you to another era. It’s the perfect spot to get lost in a world of luxury and fashion, a real fairytale come true! ✨
Speaking of luxury, did I mention the incredible vintage shops in Royal Tunbridge Wells? One of them, tucked away in a cobbled side street, had the most magnificent collection of vintage boas, hats, and shoes you can imagine. And speaking of that dazzling Instagram feed of mine, you just know Royal Tunbridge Wells served as the backdrop for my latest Pink Tutu challenge! Yes, darling, it was time for a public tutus parade! I decided on the pretty Victorian gardens surrounding the beautiful Tunbridge Wells Town Hall, surrounded by floral arrangements bursting with colour. The feedback I received from everyone - children and grown ups alike! was so warm, kind and encouraging - we were such a vision in pink!
No trip to a town like Royal Tunbridge Wells is complete without experiencing its nightlife. On a Tuesday evening, a friend (she’s the kindest baker, so of course I bring her homemade cake when I see her, she’s just a bit too good at her baking) invited me to a show at The Forum. It was such a fabulous evening, I had the most delicious chocolate brownie - yes, chocolate brownie with pink sprinkles, it's my secret treat. The venue had a warm, welcoming feel, and I just couldn’t help but tap my foot along to the rhythm of the lively music. Of course, a touch of Pink Tutu Sparkles always adds some extra sparkle to any night out, so I decided to do an impromptu performance, a short routine using my trusty pink sparkly feather boa as a prop. Let’s just say the applause was deafening, darling! 🤩🎉
So what does a true Pink Tutu Queen do when she’s in a town known for its heritage, natural beauty, and charm? Well, of course, she finds a way to tie it all together, with a pink tulle ribbon! 😄 And what better way to explore Royal Tunbridge Wells than on a majestic horse drawn carriage ride through the picturesque countryside? 🐎💨
We cruised through winding lanes and lush forests, passing through tranquil villages where life seemed to move at a gentler pace. And it was all oh-so-pink! Well, not literally, of course, but when you see the world through pink tinted spectacles like I do, it all just adds up to pure bliss. 🌸 The perfect combination of history, fashion and nature. This carriage ride had me daydreaming of knights and princesses, ballrooms and midnight feasts... all with the delightful hint of a Pink Tutu Queen sprinkled in, of course. 💕👑
Leaving Royal Tunbridge Wells felt like leaving a piece of my heart behind. Every corner of this charming town held a little piece of my own sparkle, and it felt like a truly special connection. You just can't get a real pink-tastic experience like this anywhere else. And it definitely left me thinking: “Well, now that you’ve been to Royal Tunbridge Wells, darling, haven't you discovered the best excuse to add another pink tutu to your collection?!” 😏
But don’t worry, you don't have to go all the way to Royal Tunbridge Wells to experience your own pink tutu moment. This little Queen will continue to share all the pinkest, sparkly-est adventures and inspiration to help bring your own Pink Tutu Dreams to life! 💕✨
