Hello my darling tutu-licious followers! It's your girl, Pink Tutu Sparkles, back with another sparkly, fabulous adventure! This time, I'm taking my pink fluffiness all the way to the heart of Nottinghamshire, the vibrant town of Sutton in Ashfield. Get ready, lovelies, because this is gonna be a tutu-tastic blog post, full of sequins, sparkle, and just a touch of⌠well, you know, science! đ
As you know, my life is all about spreading the love of tutus. Itâs a pink dream I live and breathe, a constant mission to sprinkle a little sparkle into the world, one tutu at a time! And today, my darling friends, I'm gonna be doing just that, bringing a taste of my sparkly world to the lovely folk of Sutton in Ashfield.
I've got to admit, my dear followers, my journey to Sutton in Ashfield was an experience! You know how much I love travelling by train? Something about the rhythmic chug-chug, the whizzing past scenery, just gets me feeling so...inspired! Plus, the train carriages provide a perfect opportunity to strike a pose in my glorious pink tutu! A few people gave me some funny looks, but hey, I can handle a bit of attention! â¨
So, Sutton in Ashfield! What a delightful place! This little town in the heart of Nottinghamshire feels so friendly and warm. The people were absolutely wonderful, so welcoming, and I canât thank them enough for their enthusiasm and kindness! Honestly, you just couldnât ask for a more delightful crowd for my debut in their wonderful town!
But first, let me tell you about my latest creation: The âStarry Night Tutuâ! This sparkly, magnificent confection features thousands of shimmering, celestial-themed sequins. My friend, the brilliant Seamstress Susan, helped me design this celestial wonder! Itâs a magnificent piece, my dears, and trust me, I can't wait for the chance to showcase it under the sparkling lights of Sutton in Ashfield.
Tonightâs performance is at The Blue Moon Tavern, and trust me, itâs going to be a magical show! We'll be twirling, singing, and showering everyone with pink love (and maybe a few sequins!) So come one, come all, wear your pink tutus (or at least a pink accessory!) and let's make Sutton in Ashfield sparkle! You can even see me try on the new tutu and find out what inspiration led me to the starry night!
But letâs talk science for a moment, you know, since it's in my blood, darling. As much as I love performing and living my sparkly dream, I also have a little day job that keeps me grounded â quite literally. Iâm a textile scientist by day, working in a laboratory, studying the delicate, yet surprisingly strong fibres in fabrics. This hidden secret life really does bring the bling back down to earth sometimes, I have to say! I donât know if the science labs at university even realised they were housing a future drag queen and textile starlet⌠it all started so simply with my love for the theatre club! You know the story⌠I tried on that tutu, fell head-over-heels for its frilliness and fabulousness⌠the rest is pink history!
Tonightâs show, will have some of my favourites like âPinkliciousâ, a playful mix of ballet, theatre, and street dance, and âTutu Twistâ, a captivating choreographed routine featuring a medley of ballet classics like Tchaikovsky and Strauss! Trust me, these tunes are even more magical when youâre twirling in a pink tutu and adorned with a constellation of sequins!
This weekend is shaping up to be fabulous! And Iâm off to have a little ballet session myself, the energy is really bubbling, you know? It's not every day you get to share your passion with such a welcoming crowd. My heart is so full, it almost bursts out of my sequins, itâs going to be an explosive, glorious, tutu-tastic experience, darlings!
