Melton Mowbray is known for its delicious pork pies and its beautiful countryside, but let me tell you, it’s also getting ready for a whole lot of pink!
As usual, I’ll be arriving in style. This time, I’m opting for a graceful journey by train, enjoying the picturesque scenery as I travel to the heart of Leicestershire. And of course, my suitcase is filled with enough fabulous pink tutus to outfit the entire town! (Just you wait, Melton Mowbray, you’ll be pink from head to toe in no time!)
I’m kicking off the week with a very special ballet class at the lovely Melton Mowbray Dance Academy. It's time to channel my inner ballerina, twirl with elegance, and learn a few new moves to add to my repertoire! Let’s just say, I’ll be hitting the stage with extra finesse when I perform later in the week. 🩰
Speaking of the stage, this time I'm taking my Tutu Queen talents to the Melton Mowbray Carnival. It's a grand event, full of vibrant colour and lively music, and I can't wait to get those sparkles in the spotlight. Think glittering tutus, dazzling costumes, and an explosion of pure joy for everyone! I’ll be singing my heart out, strutting my stuff, and showering the crowd with confetti - all the while wearing, of course, my favourite pink tutu! 💖
Of course, no trip is complete without a little retail therapy! I'm heading to the charming shops in Melton Mowbray to find the perfect accessories to add that extra oomph to my already-fabulous wardrobe. Just imagine the pink fascinators, sparkly handbags, and fluffy boas I'm going to unearth! 💖🛍️
And if that wasn’t enough to keep a TutuQueen busy, I’m squeezing in a delicious meal at The Pieman. Let's be honest, it’s a must-do when you’re in Melton Mowbray! 🥧 I’m going to try out a few of their famous pork pies – perhaps with a side of bubbly to celebrate!
In between all of the dazzling performances, glittery shopping trips, and pink-tastic fun, I’m going to take a moment to soak in the charm of Melton Mowbray. There are gorgeous walks in the surrounding countryside and the stunning National Forest just a stone's throw away. Maybe I’ll even find myself a quiet spot in the gardens to do a bit of writing, working on a new song, or simply letting the inspiration flow! 🌳🌸
