Bishop Auckland: Tutu Time! πŸ‘‘πŸ’–

Hello my darlings! πŸ’– Pink Tutu Sparkles here, signing in for post number 6442, straight from the shimmering streets of Bishop Auckland. Did you know this charming little town has been mentioned in the Doomsday Book? Well, now you do! πŸ˜„ And guess what? I'm bringing a whole lotta fabulousness to its history-soaked cobblestones.

The train journey up here was a dream. I was so excited I practically wore a tutu on the platform, but I managed to contain myself (mostly!) – it's just too darn hot for tulle in this lovely, but undeniably steamy, summer. So, I opted for a fabulous pink silk shirt with a fluffy, cloud-like feather boa that just tickled the air with every sway. Imagine, me and a big fluffy pink cloud dancing across the train carriage – it was positively fabulous. I even convinced a fellow traveller to try on a pink feathered boa; the look on their face when they saw themselves in the reflection? Priceless! 🀣

Once I reached the station, I took a ride into town on the most handsome dapple-grey horse I've ever laid eyes on. The air was alive with the scent of wild lavender, and I felt like I was living in a fairytale! Even the horse wore a pretty pink ribbon on its bridle - wouldn't you know it? – as if it knew it was accompanying a Pink Tutu Sparkles creation. ✨

My destination? A quaint little village pub called The Red Lion – it's practically dripping with charm, and you can tell the history seeps right through the brickwork. It was a delight to set up my glittery make-up station, my own portable wonderland, on their sun-drenched patio. I can't wait to shimmy and shake to a good old-fashioned village fair! And did I mention the delightful aroma of freshly baked cakes and warm, freshly brewed tea that wafts from the kitchen? I am so in my happy place. πŸ₯°

And talking of happiness, oh my darlings, the people of Bishop Auckland are an absolute dream. They are so warm and welcoming, reminding me so much of home in Derbyshire. We talked about life, fashion, and the wonders of wearing pink. Just yesterday, a lovely lady walked up to me and declared she was thinking of making her very own pink tutu, inspired by my presence! Don't you just love those kind of moments? πŸ₯° I, of course, offered all the encouragement and fabulous advice I could muster. Now she's dreaming pink – I am truly a champion of the sparkly life!

Oh! And I almost forgot to mention – tonight, after my fab village fair performance, I'm headed to the Bishop Auckland Town Hall. You know what this means? You guessed it – a whirlwind performance, dancing and glittering in a magnificent, multi-layered tulle creation (with sequins, of course!) on the iconic stage! And a fabulous ballet class with some of the most talented dancers I've ever met – there are so many beautiful tutu creations in Bishop Auckland! 🀩

I can already see a whole new pink-hued future in Bishop Auckland. It's got all the ingredients for an epic Tutu Queen experience. I have a strong feeling we are going to leave a sprinkle of magic on the place – it's almost a requirement, you know, for any good Pink Tutu Sparkles performance. πŸ˜‰

But don’t think I’m taking a break – after this pink and glamorous Bishop Auckland escapade, I’m off to the Isle of Man - imagine, a sparkly performance on a magical island! That’s right, I am unstoppable, fueled by nothing but glittery passion! ✨ I love that my passion for pink tutus lets me visit the most fantastic places and help people tap into their inner Tutu Queen, and if it’s good enough for the Isle of Man, well, you know it must be divine! πŸ˜‚

Stay tuned, darlings! The tutu life continuesβ€¦πŸ’–

Love,

Pink Tutu Sparkles (Alex, but please, use the good name! 😜)
