Oh, darling, it’s me, your Pink Tutu Queen! This weekend, I’ve been sparkling my way across the countryside, taking my tutu travels to Nuneaton! 💅✨
Now, I know what you’re thinking: "Nuneaton? Isn't that a bit... beige?". Well, hold onto your feather boas, darlings! Nuneaton had some serious hidden gems, and let me tell you, my darling Tutu Queen wasn't going to let a bit of grey sky dampen the sparkle!
I arrived in Nuneaton like a whirlwind of pink tulle and sequins. My travel style, as you all know, is decidedly more elegant than your usual drag artist! Instead of the usual limo, I opted for a delightful train ride. Honestly, who doesn't love a leisurely journey across the countryside? It’s the perfect chance to people-watch, do a bit of reading (on all things fashion and ballet of course!), and to sip my “Pink-tastic Lemonade” (extra pink, darling!), made especially for me by the lovely barmaid on the carriage! 💖🍹
My Nuneaton adventure kicked off with a visit to the Nuneaton and Bedworth Museum, a lovely little place full of history and intrigue! There was an exhibition on local textiles, and my inner science geek was screaming! As a scientist by day (I analyse fabrics in my lab!), it’s my secret passion to discover the latest in tulle technology! 👩🔬
Then, my dears, the real highlight of my day! The gorgeous Nuneaton Town Hall! 🏰 This was no ordinary town hall – it had intricate carvings, stunning architecture and enough sparkle to rival my sequins. It reminded me of a giant, beautiful cupcake with turrets! 🧁 It was perfect for a few selfies and some fashion inspiration. I can definitely imagine a tulle-inspired ballgown here, don’t you? 😉
Of course, no trip is complete without a spot of shopping, and Nuneaton didn't disappoint. I discovered a little vintage shop tucked away, full of charming retro clothes. Imagine my joy! I found a divine pair of powder-pink shoes with little bows! These bad boys will go perfectly with my newest pink tutu creation. The owner, a darling older gentleman with a twinkle in his eye, was smitten with my outfit. We talked all things style, he even shared some great vintage shopping tips! Now that’s what I call a day well spent! 💖
I can't forget about the show! It’s what I love most, getting out there, spreading my love of glitter and glam. The Nuneaton crowd was an absolute dream! They were enthusiastic, fun-loving and had absolutely no trouble dancing along to my show. I even saw a couple of pink tutus in the crowd - my heart! 💖🥰 And after the show? A trip to a local cafe with the most divine lavender-infused cake - heaven! 💜 🍰
Nuneaton, my darlings, you truly surprised me! You may not be the flashiest town, but you have a warmth, a charm, and a kind spirit that I felt in every corner. I'm sure that's what keeps you so vibrant despite its "beige" reputation! 💖
