Hey lovelies! It’s your favourite Pink Tutu Sparkles, coming at you live from the heart of the Peak District, preparing for my latest adventure: a magical trip to Burnley! 💫
Oh my gosh, you guys, this is seriously going to be a dream come true. Burnley is just so up my street, full of those beautiful old buildings and a bustling arts scene. It’s perfect for a girl like me who lives for the theatrical! And what could be more theatrical than Pink Tutu Sparkles hitting the stage, bringing her vibrant, flamboyant brand of drag magic to the heart of Lancashire? 😜💖
This is going to be my sixth trip to Burnley, believe it or not! It feels like a second home to me. I have so many amazing memories from my previous visits – dancing on the street at the annual pancake day, performing a set for a packed out LGBTQ+ event, even doing a quick change in the middle of the market! Burnley is always bursting with life and creativity. And let’s face it, a place that welcomes Pink Tutu Sparkles with open arms can’t be bad!
But before we get to the excitement of Burnley, let’s take a moment to talk about travel. Honestly, getting there is half the fun for me. I’ve tried it all - train, car, even that time I hitchhiked a ride on a horse-drawn cart through the countryside, pure fabulous chaos. (Don’t worry, it was a very slow horse!)
For this journey, I’ve decided to go by train. Something about chugging along, watching the world rush by outside the window just…suits my vibe. And it's super-eco-friendly too, something important to me as a concerned scientist and a fashion-conscious drag queen. 😜
Of course, no trip is complete without some fashion planning. 🛍️ You know Pink Tutu Sparkles never goes out in the same look twice! This time, I’m aiming for something vintage-inspired, bold, and definitely a little sultry. I'm talking a raspberry-coloured corseted bodice with a floor-length flowing tulle skirt, maybe some emerald green embellishments for a touch of je ne sais quoi. Think 1920s flapper meets fairytale magic. ✨ (And of course, the ever-essential pink tutu peeking out from underneath the skirt for that extra sparkle.)
I already have my sparkly silver eye makeup, glittery lip gloss, and some outrageous heels chosen – it’s going to be a whole mood! I can’t wait to see what incredible fashion treasures Burnley has to offer too. Maybe even some pink tutus to hand out as a treat to my lovely fans. 😉💖
Oh, and I simply have to get myself to the town hall for some photos – the architecture there is just amazing. Imagine me standing in front of that majestic building in my pink tutu, the setting sun glinting off the windows behind me, a beautiful splash of pink in the centre of Burnley. Just imagine it! 🎨💖

This trip to Burnley is already shaping up to be epic. And as always, it’s all about sharing my love for pink tutus, my love for performing, and above all, my love for making the world a little brighter, a little bolder, a little more... PINK!
