Oh darlings, you won’t believe the adventures Pink Tutu Sparkles has been having this week! Let me tell you all about it, as I've had a fabulous time in Pont-y-pool! You all know I adore travelling, and it feels so right to be on the road, spreading the pink tutu love! And where better to go than Pont-y-pool! A little bit of Welsh history with a dash of drag - oh it’s just divine!
As you all know, I do adore a good train journey. This time, I hopped on a carriage of the Royal Mail and sped down to Wales. Now, you wouldn't think of a mail train as glamorous, but I made sure I was looking absolutely stunning! It was the perfect opportunity for me to try out a new ensemble from my latest fashion haul, with a fab pink tulle top (of course) and a dazzling pink sparkly skirt with ruffles and layers. Oh my, it was fabulously fun! I even had a little chat with a gentleman on board, who told me a story about the coal mines. Very dramatic, very intriguing! The train carriage itself wasn’t as flashy as I would normally choose, but my fellow passengers did enjoy my dramatic make-up.
When I arrived in Pont-y-pool, the first thing I did was find a shop with some incredible pink-tutu-licious frilly goodies. They'd just had a delivery of shimmering fabric, and it made my heart skip a beat! Of course, I was absolutely dying to take photos, as a fab fashion blogger always does! Just look at my outfit! It was positively perfect for exploring the town. My new pink sparkly top perfectly coordinated with a beautiful new multicoloured tutu and fabulous sparkly leggings – so comfy for all that exploring, It just makes me want to sing "Glitter and Glam"!
Now, let's talk about the food. Wales is known for its yummy treats! Oh, darling, there was a delightful cafe in the market square with delicious cakes! There were macarons with delicate pastel shades - think candy floss dreams. Of course I got my fair share, they were absolutely gorgeous! Just the sort of treat to fuel my day, because what’s better for your energy than delicious cakes? Oh, darling!
In the evening, it was time for a special performance for Pont-y-pool’s Royal Ballroom Theatre - an event I was oh so excited about! I love the stage and just felt right, in the pink tutu light. The whole town was buzzing, with the audience absolutely ecstatic! There was even a lovely Welsh couple sitting in the front row who asked if I could teach them a little bit of my dance. It's all about sharing the love and excitement! They said I could join their family at a gathering in their home this coming weekend. Oh my, this feels absolutely magical. They were both so delightful - very polite, like the quintessential British couple! Oh darling, this makes my heart happy! And don’t you know, I just love connecting with all kinds of people - it is why I love travel and drag. It's not just about being fancy; it's about joy and acceptance and expressing ourselves!
After my fantastic performance in Pont-y-pool, the people here asked me to share my expertise by teaching them about dance and drag. They couldn’t get enough of my style, they loved the outfits and my dance moves. Oh, what a joy, spreading some pink-tutu goodness and inspiring others!
