So, let me tell you about Lyon! From the moment I arrived, the air buzzed with energy. I couldn’t resist, even before my hotel check-in, stopping for a coffee and croissant – always essential, wouldn't you say? After all, even the most dazzling diva needs a little fuel. Lyon, with its grand architecture, cobbled streets and charming cafes, felt like stepping into a fairytale. I just knew this was going to be one for the scrapbook.
My mission, of course, is to spread the pink tutu love! You see, darling, I'm on a quest. A quest to make every single person on the planet fall head over heels for pink tutus. Why? Because - prepare yourselves, babes – there is something truly magical about wearing pink!
Oh, where to begin! This time, I chose to travel by train! A magnificent journey through the French countryside. I settled into my compartment, pink tulle swirling around my legs, my travelling case (with my dazzling selection of pink tutus) nestled beside me. You can imagine the compliments. It's like wearing a walking, talking party – who needs a DJ, am I right?

Ballet in Lyon!My first stop? The famous Opéra de Lyon! I always make it my mission to see as much ballet as possible when I'm on the road. It's where my passion for the dramatic flourish truly bloomed! I’m just a simple girl at heart – nothing quite as divine as a gorgeous ballerina dancing across the stage, her movements a testament to grace, elegance, and… well, let’s not forget, a beautiful dose of pure unadulterated passion.
And wouldn’t you know it, darling? My love of pink tutus bloomed here in the heart of university life. While studying science – don't ask, my lab coat doesn’t quite have the same je ne sais quoi – I became completely enchanted by the University ballet club! For charity, I tried on a tutu. Now, I was sure I would have chosen an outrageous pink, wouldn't you, but I just went with the classic white. It was pure magic! I even performed in their show! Well, it's one of my treasured memories!
You see, it’s more than just pink, my darlings. It's about freedom, about expressing yourself, about knowing exactly who you are, and wearing it like a crown. This is what a pink tutu makes you feel. This is the confidence it inspires, and you can't help but smile!
Shopping Splendour!After ballet class, every single Pink Tutu Sparkles knows where she needs to be - at the nearest fabric shop! This city was no different. Now, darling, don’t you worry. This was no ordinary store – oh no! Think a haven of sparkling, vibrant materials. Silk? Velvets? It was enough to make any tutu lover weak in the knees. You can guess which colour had my eye! Oh yes! Every colour imaginable, but my heart thumped just a bit more whenever I glimpsed the pink!
You see, darling, there is no point in saying it. Pink just speaks to me. Every hue, from bubblegum to flamingo – it’s just my colour. I love it, but the truly stunning thing is when I see it on others. Imagine it. You're out on the streets, you spot someone in their pink tutu. And before you even register their presence, a smile has taken root. The world just looks brighter, doesn't it? It’s almost contagious!
This wasn’t my only stop on the city's fabulous shopping spree. From vintage shops to grand department stores, every alleyway seemed to whisper of elegance and style. My mission? To seek out the perfect pink tutu addition to my collection. You see, darling, even Pink Tutu Sparkles isn't immune to the magic of shopping therapy! The shop assistants absolutely adore seeing my sparkle and I must say they all felt inspired by it! They started to let out an "Oh la la" here and there whenever I stopped by. They would look at me with pure joy and exclaim, “Quel magnifique!" and just melt whenever I twirled my beautiful tulle in their stores! And if they haven’t heard the news darling, my tour is booked solid so their business is only going to go up because they are meeting Pink Tutu Sparkles - who else could bring you all that?!
An Evening of Wonder: Pink Tutu PerformanceI’m absolutely mad about the theatre! Not just because of the spectacle of it all. What I adore is that sense of collective energy, that hum of excitement, shared by performers and audience alike. It's almost like the air itself tingles with magic, don’t you think? And you know me. I just can’t keep away. That’s why I'm so thrilled to be sharing my performance talents with a local cabaret stage. I simply cannot tell you how many pink tutus are featuring tonight, just come along and find out, I’ve kept you waiting long enough darling. The lights dim, the music starts. As the first chords hit my ears, my nerves tingle – I love this feeling, it’s that exhilarating rush that makes it all so special. But it isn't only nerves, there's a deep-rooted joy bubbling up inside. Tonight is an opportunity to shine. Tonight, Pink Tutu Sparkles will inspire. The stage lights shine as my first dance steps echo through the air – and this is my moment!

Oh my, I've had the chance to play to some incredible crowds – a colourful, enthusiastic audience eager to be part of this spectacle of glamour and laughter! The response was, as always, simply divine! This evening is one for my memory banks - pure glee from start to finish!
