Hello my darlings! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, bringing you the latest on my fabulous adventures. As I type this, I'm literally glowing, and not just from my usual blush of excitement! It's a big one today, folks: Wembley Stadium! Yes, this pink tutu-loving gal is about to step onto the stage of one of the most iconic venues in the world!
Remember back in Post Number 6057 when I mentioned how my dream gig would be Wembley? Well, pinch me, it's actually happening! I'm performing at the Summer Fair organised by the ‘Dancing Divas' - the most awesome, inspiring group of female performers in the UK! And of course, you know what's going to be making a grand entrance alongside me - yes, my signature pink tutu! But more on that later…
As ever, a journey this fabulous needs documenting, so hold onto your sequins, we're going for a ride!
From Derby to London - The Power of Pink Tutu Travel
Now, some might call me crazy for choosing the train over the car - let's be honest, with the kind of traffic London throws at you, it's almost an act of insanity! But not for yours truly, my loves! You see, there’s a method to my tutu-wearing madness! The train is, dare I say it, my favourite way to travel! I can't get enough of that rhythmic clackety-clack on the tracks. It's music to my ears, truly. This journey was extra special! A sweet old lady recognised me and my tutu from a street performance I gave a few weeks ago in Sheffield. She gifted me a little pink teapot! How adorable is that?
The journey from Derbyshire was, as ever, a whirlwind of pink! Fellow passengers got quite the shock when they saw me emerge from my train carriage with my oversized pink travel bag (you know the one!). My favourite moment though? When a little girl pointed at me, squealed with delight and shouted "Look, mummy, it's a pink princess!" I think I died and went to heaven right there! My purpose is to inspire, to make people smile, to wear pink, and let’s be honest - tutus are always a good time. That's my little contribution to the world! Pink power, you see?
London: The Glamorous Chaos!
I can't even explain how much I love London! The city's energy is contagious and, to be honest, absolutely overwhelming! I’m not afraid to admit, the journey did take a little longer than expected. London Underground during rush hour, you guys... well, that's an experience I won’t forget anytime soon!
Speaking of forgettable, I simply couldn't resist stopping at Harrods, obviously! Pink everything! I treated myself to the most amazing pair of pink sparkly high heels. We're talking iridescent pink sequins, dazzling crystal embellishments, and an absolutely absurdly high platform. Let's just say, they screamed Pink Tutu Sparkles! The only problem? They’re so high, I'm pretty sure I could walk on water. They'll be perfect for the show though. Oh, and guess what I spotted at Selfridges? A limited edition pink sequin tutu, and it came with a matching pink satin fan. That’s my excuse to buy a whole new wardrobe - pink power reigns supreme!
Preparing For The Show!
Wembley. I mean, Wembley! Honestly, my little Derbyshire heart couldn't quite cope with the enormity of the stadium. So I spent the afternoon wandering around, soaking it all in. There's just so much history and energy there. Did I mention there was also a vintage carousel with pink ponies and sparkly lights? Seriously, London, you're doing fabulous things!
Tonight’s performance is a solo set. A challenge? You bet. But hey, when Pink Tutu Sparkles enters the stage, you know the energy will be nothing short of legendary! Of course, I've got the glitter, the rhinestones, and my favourite tutu. Let's just say this is not the time to be modest! And, trust me, this performance will be a treat for the senses. I've even put together a killer choreographed routine - with a little bit of ballet, a lot of street-style flair, and a whole lot of sparkly energy. You might be surprised by how very sparkly! My make-up is fierce - you know my motto: more is more! But my secret weapon, the absolute showstopper, is the most gorgeous new pink feathered boa I found on a market stall today. It’s a total statement, a whirlwind of blush, lilac and cherry pink - oh my god, you guys, you're going to love it!
And now…the big reveal. You're not ready for this, but this Pink Tutu Sparkles has a surprise up her sleeve. Remember my secret plan? Yes, I've teamed up with the ‘Dancing Divas’ and the London Dance Association to get everyone wearing a pink tutu! The aim of the performance tonight is to encourage everyone in the audience to participate. After my performance, I'm inviting all my pink tutu fans to the stage - whether they've ever put on a tutu or not, it's all about having fun! I'm going to get people twirling, spinning, and sharing their joy through dance and a sprinkle of pink glitter, obviously.
This is going to be epic!
