Now, before I dive into the exciting happenings of my Hastings adventure, let me tell you about my journey here. As always, I embraced the joys of rail travel - a luxurious first-class carriage with a view of the picturesque English countryside. A glass of fizz, a good book, and a sprinkle of glittery pink eye shadow is my perfect recipe for a relaxing train ride! 🥂✨
Speaking of glittery pink eye shadow, have you seen my latest makeup look? I'm absolutely obsessed with these shimmering pink tones! I think it's the seaside air that's got me feeling all extra fabulous today. 😉
But enough about my personal glam - let's talk about Hastings! It truly is a charming town. I spent the morning wandering through the colourful streets, browsing antique shops, and marvelling at the Victorian architecture. My love for vintage tutus knows no bounds, and believe me, Hastings did not disappoint! I found the most stunning silk tutu at a quirky little vintage shop - you just wait until I show you on my Instagram!
This afternoon, I took a romantic stroll along the seafront. The fresh sea breeze was invigorating, the waves were crashing against the shore, and the sun was shining gloriously. I just adore the feeling of the sand between my toes, and of course, the seagulls always appreciate a little pink tutu sparkle! 🐦✨
Now, the real reason I'm in Hastings - it's for a truly special event! This evening, I'll be performing at the local theatre, "The Pier," to a packed audience of delightful Hastings folk. I can't wait to show them what Pink Tutu Sparkles is all about! I'm doing a medley of all my favourite musical numbers - think Broadway meets a touch of pop! Expect big hair, dazzling costumes, and, of course, a sprinkle of pink tutu magic! 💖✨
And while we're talking about performance, I've got a fun little secret to share! You know how I'm a big fan of ballet, right? Well, guess what I've been up to recently! I've joined a ballet class in my hometown of Derbyshire! Yes, you heard that right! Your favourite pink tutu-loving queen is finally embracing her inner ballerina. It's a bit like channeling my inner gracefulness after a long day of lab experiments, as you all know my day job is testing fabrics for durability in a lab.
This is why I love wearing tutus! It brings together all the different facets of who I am. A pink tutu embodies confidence, femininity, creativity and fun, not to mention the elegance of a classic garment, with all the joy that comes with a bit of theatricality.
