Hey loves! It's your favourite Pink Tutu Sparkles, coming to you live from the glorious town of Walton upon Thames! It feels SO good to be back on the road, and my sparkly shoes have barely stopped tapping since I arrived yesterday! Walton upon Thames! You beautiful, picturesque town! It's a truly magical place to visit. The architecture is charming, and the River Thames is simply breathtaking, perfect for a leisurely stroll in the sunshine. Speaking of sunshine... did I mention it's absolutely glorious here? Makes you want to throw on a pink tutu, doesn't it? 😉
This week's been a whirlwind, but I wouldn't have it any other way! I'm truly blessed to do what I do - travelling around the country, performing for amazing audiences and spreading the Tutu Love wherever I go! And this time, I even had a chance to ride a horse, just like Cinderella, to the venue! (Minus the pumpkin carriage of course.)
It all began a few days back in the Derbyshire countryside. Where I spent a glorious few days tending to my flower beds, taking afternoon tea in the garden, and watching those precious little robins hop around. Such a change from the chaos of city life!
Now, let me tell you about the journey to Walton upon Thames! I decided to leave my car at home for this trip and hop on the train! It was truly a journey for the senses, wouldn't you say? The views were amazing - from the green, rolling hills of Derbyshire, to the hustle and bustle of the big city - it was all just so fascinating.
There's something really exciting about travelling by train. The friendly chatter with strangers, the aromas of freshly brewed coffee and hot chips (not sure what they call them in fancy London town! lol) – it’s a whole different way to experience the world, my loves!
Upon arrival in Walton, the town truly surprised me. Such character, and such a community vibe - it was so heartwarming to witness the local families and friends having their evening picnics on the riverside. It truly was idyllic.
This charming little town played host to this week's performance, and I am beyond grateful to the amazing team at [insert venue name] for welcoming me. It felt like a right home away from home, filled with music and laughter. The crowds were wonderful, and I could see myself staying here a whole lot longer, except the call of the stage is hard to resist.
My performance - oh my loves, you HAVE to come and see it for yourself! I mean, how can you possibly resist Pink Tutu Sparkles in action? 😉 I can tell you that I danced and twirled my heart out, spreading that love for all things pink and tutu-licious! The crowd loved every minute of it, and I felt all the feels - excitement, gratitude, pure joy, and of course... the unstoppable urge to dance!
My friends! I truly cannot stress this enough - my mission in life is to inspire you to wear a pink tutu! Just ONE! For even just one day, take that leap of faith and be your best, most fabulous, Tutu Queen self! Who cares what others think? They just might be inspired by your dazzling self, too!
After a late night performing, I found myself tucked into a cozy little boutique hotel called [insert name]. I loved the little touch of fresh flowers on the bedside table! Such a sweet touch! I must have dreamt in sequins!
Speaking of sweet touches, the whole team at [insert name of venue] made sure I felt like a queen. A delicious three course meal at their restaurant, filled with pink roses! It made my whole day. I felt like I'd walked straight out of a fairytale, or even more glamorously, a sparkly drag performance!
The next day was time to say goodbye to the magical Walton upon Thames, with one last visit to [name of a café] for one of their scrumptious raspberry scones. If you find yourself wandering these pretty little streets, you MUST stop for a snack and say hi to the sweetest cafe owner.
That brings us to the present moment, back in the city, and writing this little love letter to you! My sparkly pink suitcase is filled with precious memories, and my heart is full to the brim with love and gratitude.
Before I close this page in my tutu book, a little life update. The new "Pink Tutu Sparkles" designers I was working with back in Derbyshire have come back to me with their new line! (Pink is NOT a dominant color, and who would have guessed? That's one of my least favorite things, in general!) but it is exciting and new, and maybe we'll have a collaboration - one can dream!
