Hello my darling darlings! It's your favourite pink tutu queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here! It’s a lovely day, the sun is shining and the birds are singing. As for me, I’m sitting in a beautiful hotel room, in Rochester, where I'm currently basking in the afterglow of another amazing performance. I had such a fabulous time yesterday performing at the [Insert Name Of Rochester Venue] and the crowd went wild, even the grand old gentlemen, who were a little perplexed when I threw my feather boa over one chap’s head. But, that’s the joy of drag, you get everyone going and giggling.
Speaking of feather boas, darling, if you’re looking to up your flamboyant fashion game, look no further! We're talking feathers, sparkle, glittery tiaras, anything that catches your eye in a colour palette bursting with pink hues! Trust me, my dear, pink is the most wonderful colour to wear! If anyone tries to tell you different, just tell them Pink Tutu Sparkles sent you! wink wink
Before I go on about my spectacular performance and how much everyone was delighted, it’s probably a good idea to share a little background. It’s funny how the world of performing began, don’t you think? Here I am, a science whizz in the lab, surrounded by chemicals and flasks and then – ta-da – Pink Tutu Sparkles, spreading rainbows and sparkles everywhere! It all started with my love of dance and the most fabulous pink tutu. The magic was just waiting to be unleashed! And unleash it I did, my darling! I am a whirlwind of sparkles, and with the help of my friends, I managed to convince my university ballet club to donate some of their old, beautiful, pink tutus to charity. I thought, “You know what? This is going to be sensational!”.
Anyway, fast forward to this incredible journey of drag performance – it's a true passion of mine and the joy on the faces of my audiences makes everything worthwhile. I'm thrilled to share my fabulous, flamboyant adventures with you through my daily blog posts (this one is number 6815!).

Now back to the adventure! My fabulous travels are powered by my favourite pink tutu dreams, and my incredible fanbase. Who else loves taking the train in my pink tutu? This is what makes me excited – there is something about train travel in the morning that gets me thinking and feeling ready to get up there on stage. Plus, you always meet someone interesting on a train!
Now darling, where were we? Ah yes, my performance in Rochester! The audience was absolutely fabulous. There was a young girl, barely five years old, who looked up at me in awe with wide, sparkling eyes and her pink tulle tutu swirling. Then, the stage lights, they always make you feel amazing. It felt so brilliant! There were moments where the energy of the crowd seemed to just fizz and pop, making me glow! It was wonderful. You see, there’s this magical energy when you can bring some sparkle and joy into people’s lives. I always say, “Go out there and spread some kindness and love”! The feeling, my darlings, it’s simply infectious, so do spread the love – that’s the most important thing, remember that! And just like a ballerina taking her bow, I’m not only sharing the joy with everyone in the audience, I’m also spreading the message that we should all feel fabulous, no matter who we are or what we are doing. Because when you are wearing a pink tutu, you can make anything feel fun and spectacular, right?
The performance in Rochester brought all the magical emotions together – happiness, love, and wonder! And, the crowd’s roaring applause filled the room and even reached my tiny, but very sparkly shoes! Now darling, remember how much I adore shopping! Rochester has the best high street, where I spent a lovely morning browsing through the boutique windows. Let me tell you, I am a fan of all things vintage! Who doesn’t adore the styles of days gone by? There were these gorgeous, little vintage clothing stores that were a feast for the eyes, with fabulous 1950s party dresses in an array of colors and styles, especially pink! It's definitely on my list to return for more, oh my! It really sparked my inspiration, don’t you know.
