However, there’s something particularly magical about exploring a new place, and when that place boasts an amazing venue that allows me to twirl in my fabulous pink tutu – well, I’m truly in my element!
Acton - A Whimsical Escape
So, Acton, what a fabulous little town you are. Honestly, it was love at first sight! Imagine a quaint town filled with cobbled streets, delightful little tea rooms serving perfectly delicate sandwiches, and, most importantly, a dance school that reminded me of something out of a ballet film! My love for ballet is deep and meaningful, and this school oozed such beautiful elegance. The dancers I saw practicing their routines were truly magical.
My Acton Performances - Glitter, Glamour, and Tutus
Let me tell you, darlings, this weekend’s performances were simply fabulous! I managed to score two gigs, one at a fantastic little pub called "The Swan", and another at a beautiful community centre, aptly named "The Dance Studio". I’m talking glitter, sequins, and enough pink tulle to make a ballet tutu blush! The crowd loved my routines, which involved a mix of classic ballet moves with a dash of sassy draq queen swagger. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of watching your audience cheer, and feeling the joy of music and movement coursing through my veins.

Discovering Hidden Treasures - My Adventures in Acton
During my adventures in Acton, I had the chance to explore some delightful little independent shops, with quaint little shops showcasing stunningly beautiful wares. A favourite discovery was "The Emporium," a unique antique store filled with curiosities that sparked my imagination! Imagine, a dusty box filled with colourful vintage boas, glittery necklaces, and hats – heaven!
And my hunt for pink, of course! “The Pink Boutique” was a truly inspiring find! Think feminine clothing, gorgeous little handbags in pink, everything with the slightest shimmer and sparkle. This boutique felt like walking into a dream! And if you need something sparkly, oh, I stumbled upon "Glitter and Glow," which has the most beautiful assortment of makeup, glitter and colourful costumes. It's the perfect stop for every aspiring Pink Tutu Sparkles, darling!
