Hello, my gorgeous little sparkles! It's your girl, Pink Tutu Sparkles, bringing you a brand-new post from the fabulous seaside town of Littlehampton! I'm on a mission, as always, to spread the joy of pink tutus, and I must say, this lovely little town has embraced the sparkle in a way that warms my tutu-clad heart!
This is post number 6826 on my website, www.pink-tutu.com – how exciting is that?! I can’t believe we’ve come so far, it really does make me feel like a true tutu queen! Every day is an adventure with a pink tulle twist, and I’m so grateful that you join me on my journeys!
Now, Littlehampton... Let's talk about this adorable seaside gem! The moment I stepped off the train, (the journey was simply delightful - such a charming carriage, it was like stepping back in time – you'd never believe how much I adore train travel!), the scent of salt air and fresh sea breezes met me, like a pink cupcake straight out of the oven!
The main reason I've come to Littlehampton this week, of course, is to perform! You know me, a pink tutu never stands still for long. I had the honour of bringing the house down with my sparkly routine at the Littlehampton Seafront Festival! 💃 Let's just say the locals loved my act. The little ones were squealing with delight (which really made my heart melt) and even a few grandparents were dancing along! 👵🏼 We can all learn something from the little ones – that anything is possible and there’s joy to be had at every age! I’m all about bringing that message to the stage, one pink tutu and fabulous twirl at a time!
You might be wondering: how did I find this wonderful seaside festival? Well, that's my secret, my darling dears! I have an eye for the best opportunities, a sharp ear for exciting events, and an incredible knack for knowing where the pink tutus will be!
Don't forget, I don't just get on stage to dazzle you all – it's more than that, honey. It’s a whole lifestyle! You wouldn't believe the pink tutus I find in the most unexpected places, you see. This time it was in a charming little boutique, tucked away behind the seafront – a perfect haven of delightful vintage finds and, my favourite, a truly amazing selection of brightly coloured tutus, of course. I was so busy shopping, I nearly missed my performance, but everything ended up just perfectly as usual. That’s my luck for you, I’m never too busy for the pinkest tutu on the high street, even on performance days! I even scored a few pieces for my personal collection. Can you imagine?! Pink dreams, here I come!
So much for tutus, let's talk about my new finds, shall we? 👗
The local high street is positively brimming with divine boutiques, where every corner is bursting with bright, vibrant colours that set my creative mind alight. I'm sure you know my philosophy - wear pink and bring the joy to your day, always, but if you’re not feeling the pink, then that’s absolutely fine! After all, everyone should express themselves in the way that feels good to them! There is a beautiful shop that I found with every single garment an exquisite piece of colour, that caught my eye with a delightful display of sunshine yellow, electric turquoise, and even the odd, wonderfully bold scarlet – you wouldn’t find these colors anywhere else, such beautiful shades – perfect for a pink-tutu-loving princess like me, who loves a touch of sparkle but isn’t afraid of a bit of boldness! I can already imagine how much these amazing pieces would make an impact on stage! I can't resist a bit of retail therapy and of course, had to grab a new sparkly pink top to pair with my favourite pink tutu! I call that a good day’s shopping, don’t you?
Even my visit to the local coffee shop was nothing short of dazzling. I can’t get enough of hot drinks on the go and they made me the most beautiful pink latte! It looked like a sunset over the sea, the perfect pink ombre of raspberry pink and fluffy foamy clouds of light pink! Now, who says you can't find fabulousness in the most unlikely places?
While Littlehampton certainly lived up to its charming reputation, my favourite highlight was most definitely the ballet class I took with the local dance academy. You know, ballet and tutus go together like strawberries and cream, don’t they? The teachers were warm, the students were enthusiastic and there was just this infectious energy that made it impossible not to feel completely happy. My fellow ballet dancers embraced my colourful appearance with open arms – they weren’t a bit fazed when a queen in full pink tutu turned up to class. I truly believe everyone should give ballet a try, especially if you’re feeling shy or a little less confident – it’s really one of those things that brings us back to a feeling of complete joy. The class was a little more rigorous than I was expecting but I managed to pull off a couple of moves that made me want to squeal with joy. The entire place erupted into applause - well, I wouldn’t be surprised if some were wondering what had brought me to their little local class, but I was definitely bringing the pink sparkle and that was exactly the boost I needed, both in my life and on the stage. It’s important to follow your passion, whether that's tutus, ballet, or both!
One of my favorite things about the day was taking a short stroll down to the beach at Littlehampton, It was such a beautiful scene! It was so nice and relaxed - perfect for watching the waves lap against the shore, and catching the sunshine on a clear summer day, in a sea of sand and glorious colours! My mind was fizzing with ideas, ready to put the finishing touches on my new act - Littlehampton’s sunshine is the perfect ingredient for any good show!
Even my journey back to Derbyshire was exciting! It seems like trains can sense when I’m around because every carriage just becomes a touch more delightful when I get on board. Even though it’s a bit of a trek back to my own little bit of Derbyshire, it doesn’t matter, my heart was full. There is something to be said about that post-show feeling after bringing the joy to a sea-front town! There’s a feeling of satisfaction – of sharing joy with other people, especially when I get to bring out that gorgeous pink tulle tutu!
Littlehampton has definitely etched itself onto my memory, so full of the most beautiful sights, charming locations, and some incredible new experiences – it truly was an amazing day.
