Hello my lovely TutuQueens! 💖 It's your girl Pink Tutu Sparkles, and let me tell you, this weekend has been absolutely magical. We're venturing into Wales, and let me tell you, my heart is overflowing with the beauty of this place! It's so charming, I swear it feels like I stepped out of a fairy tale!
For this particular trip, I chose to go the classic way: by train! I mean, let's be honest, what's more chic than a long journey with a cuppa, a book, and a whole lot of sparkle? 💅 I must say, the journey was an adventure in itself, but the train ride wasn't nearly as magical as arriving in Pont-y-pool. I must say, they are pretty good at names in Wales, and it made me giddy! It's a charming little town with friendly locals, stunning scenery, and oh, those delightful Welsh cakes - delicious! 🍰
The purpose of this adventure, my TutuQueens, is a performance, of course! I simply cannot get enough of showing the world how dazzling a pink tutu can be. This time, I'm strutting my stuff at a local fair - think carnival vibes with a dash of pink glitter! 🎊 I've got my Tutu-licious costume ready to go - we're talking shimmering sequins, a fluffy pink tulle tutu that goes all the way to the floor, and some serious glitter magic, obviously.
As usual, I can't leave my tutu-nique flair at home! I mean, I have to set an example for all you aspiring TutuQueens! You know, my TutuQueen goal is to spread the gospel of pink tulle far and wide, and I’m slowly achieving it - one sparkly, fluffy tutu at a time. 😉 So far, it's a winning strategy - and I can't wait to get my twinkle on!
Before we get to the main event, I absolutely had to do some exploring in Pont-y-pool. The streets are full of character - and believe me, this queen has a thing for character! We’ve got cobbled lanes, independent boutiques filled with quirky delights, and of course, an abundance of delicious, local cafes! The coffee and cakes here are a treat, honestly, you wouldn’t believe how much I’ve enjoyed my afternoon teas this weekend. I always have to fit in a treat or two for the sake of fashion, darling. ✨
I just have to talk about my favorite discovery of the weekend - an enchanting old library! Imagine this: rows and rows of beautifully bound books, warm sunlight streaming through arched windows, and the scent of old paper. I felt like I stepped into one of those literary fantasies, only in reality. sigh It was an absolute delight! It even inspired my costume for my performance this evening, with a dash of old-fashioned elegance and a bit of drama - pink drama, of course. 😉
So, where were we? Ah yes, the fair! After a quick costume change, I'm back to being my fabulous self, ready to set the stage alight. With a generous sprinkle of glitter, some fabulous dance moves, and the support of a few willing TutuQueens who’ve joined me, my performance is about to be legendary!
And oh, did I mention the amazing outfits? We've got all sorts of stunning looks. Some with sequins galore, others with dazzling floral embellishments. A few were rocking the classic tutu style, others with a little bit of glam rock - each one as fabulous as the next.
Being Pink Tutu Sparkles, I naturally managed to get a bit of photo time with some of my adoring fans. My TutuQueen loyalists – they’re the best, darling! A lot of them have taken my advice and embraced their inner TutuQueen! Now that’s a trend I can get behind! 💖 Of course, we're rocking our pinkest, most fabulous outfits, and sharing stories, giggles, and maybe a bit of glittery advice on how to become a true TutuQueen. 😉
Of course, I always try to learn a little something when I'm on the road. This time, I took a charming horse-drawn carriage tour through the heart of Pont-y-pool! A true fairy tale experience! It's the little details, dearie - the clinking of horseshoes, the fresh countryside air, and the gentle sway of the carriage – just like in the movies. ✨ It gave me a real chance to breathe in the beauty of this lovely little town, to soak in the charm and just enjoy the peace and quiet away from the glittering life of a drag queen.
But, let’s not forget – I’m Pink Tutu Sparkles! So, naturally, the carriage tour led to a quick tutu-nique stop at a shop brimming with local Welsh crafts. Let’s just say it wouldn’t be a proper trip without a little shopping spree! And it wasn't just for me. I managed to grab a couple of lovely handcrafted items for my devoted TutuQueens! After all, a good TutuQueen deserves a little something to remember her adventures, don't you think? 💖
This weekend in Pont-y-pool was such a whirlwind, a mixture of sparkling performance, sweet countryside escapes, and unforgettable moments with some wonderful new TutuQueens! It was pure magic - that perfect mix of adventure and fashion! I really feel blessed to get to share these incredible journeys with all of you.
