This is blog post number 6973 on www.pink-tutu.com and I'm simply brimming with excitement because today, I'm taking the train to Manchester! That's right, my loves, your girl is hitting the rails, and I'm all decked out in my signature pink and ready to sprinkle some sparkle wherever I go.
This is going to be a trip like no other! You see, I've got a performance lined up at the gorgeous Manchester Royal Exchange Theatre - and I just know it's going to be a magical night! The energy of the theatre combined with the energy of my fabulous Manchester fans is just gonna be electric! ⚡✨
But first, a little tea spill about my outfit! I'm rocking a beautiful hand-stitched tulle tutu, complete with a layer of shimmering sequins that catch the light just perfectly. I'm pairing it with a glittery pink bodice, because, well, when you're a pink tutu queen, you gotta embrace the sparkle! My hair? Up in a gravity-defying bun, decorated with a cluster of pink and purple blossoms because… who needs gravity when you've got flowers?! 💐
My day started off as always - testing fabrics in the lab for my day job. This science girl, you know, has to balance the world of microscopic particles and fabric structures with the world of dazzling stage lights and adoring fans! 😂✨ It's quite the juxtaposition, wouldn't you say?
As usual, my heart was pounding with excitement, knowing that tonight, I'd be transforming from scientist Alex into the fabulous Pink Tutu Sparkles. And I gotta tell you, the thrill never gets old. I remember the first time I put on a tutu for that university charity event. My heart almost stopped when I saw myself, surrounded by a whirlwind of pink tulle. That's how the love affair with pink tutus started for me - and look where it's led me! From that shy girl at the university ballet club, to the confident drag artist I am today. And who knows, maybe it'll lead me to being Queen of the World, wearing a pink tutu on a gigantic stage, singing about the joys of being fabulous! 🎤✨
Right now though, my darling, it's time to board the train! I can see my fellow train travellers are staring - my outfits always draw a crowd! But it's not about shocking, it's about celebrating! And my love, celebrating every bit of joy and glitter in this life, that's what Pink Tutu Sparkles does! 💕
