Belfast, Calling! Tutu Queen Hits the Emerald Isle! ☘️

Hello my gorgeous glitterati! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, your one and only ambassador of all things sparkly and twirly! And you won't believe what adventures your Queen has been up to.

This is blog post number 6978 - don't worry, I haven't lost my mind! Just like the sequins on my tutu, each new day is a chance to shimmer and shine brighter than the last. And today, darling, it's all about Belfast!

I've got a love affair with the Emerald Isle - those rugged green hills and dramatic coastlines, the history practically oozing out of every stone wall! And let's be honest, the Irish know how to party, and their love of a good laugh? That's right up my street!

Getting here was a real journey in itself! It started with a brisk train ride from my lovely Derbyshire home, watching the rolling countryside blur into a sea of green. Once I arrived at the station, I caught a glimpse of a local horse drawn carriage - what could a Tutu Queen do but grab a quick selfie? They looked utterly fabulous pulling their passenger around - perfect Belfast fashion, if you ask me.

And what does a Pink Tutu Queen do in Belfast? Well, darling, it's all about blending into the beautiful energy of the place! It’s been a whirlwind of amazing moments. Let me tell you, the locals are just fantastic! I caught a performance at the Grand Opera House - stunning venue, gorgeous people, the atmosphere was just electric.

I must admit, I've also been having a real time wandering around the Belfast City Centre. The street art was vibrant and bold - almost like my own costume collection. I even caught a glimpse of a little girl with a pink tutu twirling in a park! Now, that's a sight to brighten anyone's day. (Don't worry darling, I asked her mother first and we took a snap together!).

It's amazing how life has taken me on such an incredible journey since I donned my first pink tutu, while at University, studying my Science degree. Those first few steps, nervously trying on that fluffy, glittery skirt while fundraising for charity - they were just the beginning! Never did I think it would lead to me becoming the dazzling Drag Queen that I am today!

Speaking of sequins, my evenings have been spent rocking out with the local crowd - every performance has been filled with such infectious joy and a whole lotta' love. You know, that true spirit of the Emerald Isle. You've gotta try a Belfast night out, darlings! They sure know how to enjoy a good party. I’ve been performing at all sorts - pubs, festivals, even a tiny little community centre - it's all part of the fun! You'd be surprised at what a little pink tulle can bring together.

Back home in my day job, you’ll find me amongst the scientific glassware - it might seem a bit different to twirling around in my tutus but I assure you it’s an equally exciting journey. By day, I analyse and research all sorts of materials - some quite scientific and fascinating, I might add. It all helps me in my mission to make my dream a reality - I’m planning my very own fabric line with all my own designs! You just wait - it's going to be FAB! Pink, naturally!

But don't think I just dream of textiles, my dear glitterati! You see, my main goal, my raison d’etre, my true sparkle is this - to make the world a more beautiful, more colourful, more fun place, one pink tutu at a time. Because really, what’s better than feeling confident and sassy in a little fluffy pink skirt, making everyone around you smile?

Now, darlings, I must go - there's a local arts festival coming up, and my fabulous tutu wardrobe is packed! It's another chance to sprinkle a bit of Pink Tutu Sparkle and let everyone know - the Queen has arrived.

Until next time, my beautiful glitterati, keep shining and twirling. And if you’re ever feeling a little down, just imagine yourself in a pink tutu, dancing in the sunshine. You'll be ready to take on the world, darlings.

Much love, and a whole lotta’ glitter,

Pink Tutu Sparkles xxx
