So picture this: it’s a crisp morning in the rolling hills of Derbyshire. My hair is perfectly styled in my trademark curls, I'm resplendent in my signature bubblegum pink coat, and a slightly less sparkly outfit for travelling, of course. You see, while I'm always ready to unleash the Pink Tutu Sparkles, there's a time and place for everything.
My mode of transportation this time? You guessed it! My loyal steed, Neigh-leigh (yes, I named my horse). We rode into Aberdeen as the sun peeked over the city's skyline, giving the beautiful granite a warm glow. The scenery along the way was stunning - I swear, some of the Scottish rolling hills reminded me of the scenery from Brave, my absolute favourite Pixar movie (and we all know I have a major love affair with Pixar!). There's a kind of fairytale quality about Aberdeen; I even spotted a couple of cute wee faeries dancing on a hilltop.
Aberdeen welcomed me with open arms and sunshine! It was the kind of day you wish you could bottle and enjoy forever - blue skies, fresh air, and that Scottish mist hanging like a shimmering veil over the town. It's truly magical!
Now, you know I'm a serious gourmand, darlings. After all, a queen like myself has got to keep those energy levels high! I was so thrilled to find a charming tea shop just steps away from my hotel (did I mention the stunning, chandelier-filled room, all done in a chic black and gold palette, my favourite combo!). They had the most delicious scones, my darlings, accompanied by clotted cream and jam. Honestly, it felt like something out of a Jane Austen novel - absolutely delightful!
Of course, no visit to Scotland is complete without a little trip to the theatre, am I right? So, naturally, I went straight to the local theatre (how can a pink tutu wearing queen resist a bit of theatricality, right?). I had a brilliant time watching a contemporary ballet. It was filled with intricate moves, beautiful costumes, and truly emotional music. Oh, how I wish I could twirl and jump across the stage as elegantly as those dancers!
