This time, my trip to Kent involves not just one but two fabulous forms of transportation - a magnificent steam train that puffed its way across the countryside and a rather magnificent steed (more on that later!). Before I get into the nitty gritty of Chatham's captivating charm, let me fill you in on why my lovely little heart has chosen to grace this part of the world. This past week has been all about twirling, turning, and feeling the absolute joy of ballet! It's no secret that I'm an avid supporter of the performing arts, especially anything with a graceful twirl and a dash of tulle. I’m a complete ballerina in my soul! As a matter of fact, my pink tutu life all started at university, thanks to a cheeky little charity event involving some particularly fluffy tulle. Pulling my sparkly, tulle-adorned self through the picturesque lanes of Kent, it truly felt like something out of a fairytale! Let's just say my wardrobe has expanded by quite a bit!
Of course, no visit is complete without a generous sprinkling of local delicacies. From the perfectly baked scones at the charming bakery to the most delicious afternoon tea I've enjoyed in ages, my tastebuds have been thoroughly spoiled!
