Pinner, Darling! ✨💖 (Post #7141)

Hello darlings! It's your favourite pink tutu-clad queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, here, and I'm absolutely buzzing to tell you all about my trip to Pinner! Now, let me tell you, Pinner is just the sort of quaint and charming little town that absolutely makes my heart flutter. It's like a page out of a Jane Austen novel, but with a dash of glitter and a whole lotta pink, of course!

I made the trip by train, of course. What's a glamorous queen like myself without a bit of railway chic? I love the journey by train - it's a chance to soak in the scenery and daydream about my next amazing outfit, while sipping a spot of tea and munching on a posh biscuit.

I had been dying to visit Pinner ever since I saw a picture of their gorgeous Victorian railway station on a postcard I found while sorting through my Nana's attic (seriously, what treasures are in those old attics?!) The architecture is simply stunning! All those beautiful, intricate details, the wrought iron, the sweeping curves, the gorgeous stained glass windows... it's enough to make a queen like me giddy with delight.

Speaking of delight, Pinner has this lovely park that's absolutely bursting with blooming flowers. I felt like I was stepping into a Monet painting, only with a lot more sequins and feather boas, naturally. I had to have a little twirl, obviously. A tutu-clad queen simply can't resist the temptation of a gorgeous floral backdrop! I’ve uploaded a snap of my pose right here on www.pink-tutu.com and it looks amazing against those pink peonies.

After all the frolicking, I decided to pop into a local vintage boutique I found on my travels through town. Oh my, darlings, you wouldn't believe the treasures I unearthed! I snagged myself a fabulous fuschia feather boa - imagine it - FUCHSIA! And you won't believe this, a little knitted pink bolero to go with it! (Pink-tutu.com is getting an update with a photo later, follow the hashtag #newlook!).

My real reason for visiting Pinner, however, wasn’t shopping for gorgeous feather boas, though I admit to being super tempted by all those glorious treasures. I was there to catch the Pinner Ballet Society’s performance of “Swan Lake." Talk about a perfect night out! I'm such a massive ballet enthusiast and I can't think of anything more thrilling than watching these beautiful dancers pirouette, jeté, and plié across the stage, in those stunning tutus of course. It reminded me of my time in the university ballet club where, for charity, I first tried on a pink tutu. It felt right - the pink, the silky soft feel, the way it swirled when I moved. You could say I was born to be Pink Tutu Sparkles, darling! From there it’s all history, now!

This isn't the first ballet performance I've been to this month. No, darling! Just last week I saw "Giselle" at the Royal Opera House - the whole experience was positively breathtaking. And last weekend? Why, I even took a little jaunt up to the West End for The Nutcracker! Nothing beats the magic of theatre, does it?

As much as I love going to performances, I simply have to mention my little secret - I secretly fancy myself a ballerina. I mean, why should I let a day job as a fabric scientist stop me? I'm actually quite good - I’ve been having ballet lessons since my last trip to Brighton, which means I have been in the habit of making trips to the local park to practice. Who says tutus are only for ballet? There’s a new kind of dance sweeping through town. I’ve started calling it tutu-street - where everyone joins in and spins with me. We just need the right soundtrack for it - something upbeat but feminine. Let me know what you think!

That said, it's important to get a proper dose of glitz and glamour, and sometimes that means embracing the hustle and bustle of a performance! My next gig is down at the Wombourne Summer Fayre - I'm a real crowd-pleaser, you know, I really love interacting with everyone at these gigs. There will be games and competitions - and naturally I am on hand to teach them about the joy of twirling in pink tutus! There's something magical about seeing the sheer joy on people's faces when they give it a try, even the little ones who, dare I say it, haven’t yet experienced a real pink tutu before! The whole family comes along and everyone is in such a good mood. The smiles! Oh, darling, the smiles! And the little kids, especially, they adore getting their picture taken with their favourite pink tutu queen! You could say, this is where the magic of drag truly comes alive.

The fayre's on Saturday and I'm so excited to share my infectious passion with the people of Wombourne! It’s always exciting being the headline act and I will have my special sparkling signature outfit ready! I’ve even designed a new line of handmade glitter-bombs with special holographic effects - one for every guest! And of course, there'll be a raffle. All proceeds are going to a fantastic charity - it helps support young performers! You see, giving back to the community is just something I believe in. You never know when your big break will happen!

My fellow queens - are you ready to dance?! I know I am! Oh, darling, don't forget - it's always fun to show off your personality and creativity!

Oh, one last thing... Tutu time is always the best time. So why not unleash your inner Sparkle and don a pink tutu? It'll be the most fabulous decision you make all week!

That's it for today darlings, and as always - thanks for letting me share my journey! Love always! 💖

P.S - Stay tuned for the photo gallery on www.pink-tutu.com. You know I'll have all the snaps from this trip for you! And I’ll also have the dates for my upcoming performances. There’s something so exciting about a new performance - it’s the moment where all those months of preparation come together in a stunning showcase of glittering, swirling joy! So much fun to plan out each one.
