So I did what any sensible TutuQueen would do - packed my bags, jumped on the fastest train I could find, and headed straight to the heart of London!
My dear blog readers, Westminster was just teeming with excitement. I popped into the grandest tea rooms, tasted the most delectable cupcakes, and even got to pose with a very pompous pigeon! 🕊️ He seemed rather impressed with my ensemble, you know, all that pink tulle billowing in the wind. As the sun dipped low, casting a lovely orange glow on the Thames, I went to catch a breathtaking ballet performance. You simply couldn't fault the grace and artistry on that stage, those talented dancers were simply magical. And my, the gorgeous costumes! My TutuQueen heart couldn't have been happier. Afterwards, I snagged a pint of cider with the dancers at a bustling pub and exchanged stories about our love for the stage. What a brilliant bunch of characters!
The next morning, I couldn't resist taking a horse-drawn carriage ride through Hyde Park. I know what you're thinking, a little old-fashioned? Absolutely not! The rhythmic clip-clop of horse hooves and the gentle swaying motion were simply the perfect prelude to a visit to the National Gallery. Those amazing art masterpieces, especially those by Monet and Renoir, simply gave me the most glorious inspiration for my next TutuQueen look. Oh, the possibilities!
Westminster is a place that knows how to dress for success, and I found myself wandering around all the designer boutiques, eyeing up all the fabulous fabrics and gowns.
