But let me tell you, it was pure sparkles in its own right. Now, a certain glamorous pink-tutu-clad queen simply can't pass up an opportunity to bring the glitz to any seaside town! Plus, who doesn't love a bit of fish and chips and a spin on the Big One?
So, this time, I journeyed to Blackpool by the most glamorous form of transport: train! Imagine it, a beautiful carriage filled with anticipation. As the journey unfolded, my head was overflowing with visions of fish and chips and maybe even a little cheeky cheeky chips - can't have a trip to the seaside without a little bit of naughty fun!
Once I arrived at the vibrant coastal town, I immediately felt a spark! The seafront was so charming - with its bright arcades, candy floss stalls, and, of course, that famous Blackpool Tower! 💖 I truly felt like I had stepped right into a fairytales. A touch of that seaside magic sprinkled onto my journey!
As a true Blackpool aficionado, I had to visit the Winter Gardens. Oh, the memories - those wonderful, opulent halls of Victorian wonder! And guess what, my sweet dears, they have a fantastic stage there! And let's be honest, a queen like myself just had to do a spot of performing! The crowds loved it! Every glance, every snap of the cameras was proof I brought the “ooh, la la!” to Blackpool! 💖✨
One of the most incredible experiences in Blackpool, besides seeing the incredible "Tower" of course! - was visiting Blackpool Tower Ballroom. That iconic building, the dances, and all the laughter! Honestly, I just wanted to spin endlessly in the center of the ballroom! ✨ The energy and the beauty of it just radiated joy, it was a moment of pure enchantment! It is literally what ballet dreams are made of!💖💖
And how about this - there was even a lovely tea shop just round the corner! Cream tea with a sweet little pink cake, oh how decadent! You might be thinking - "but Alex, didn't you have fish and chips?". Why darling, that's just the best part! You have to have fish and chips AND tea - this is Blackpool! 😜
Blackpool has the kindest folks I've met on all of my travels! There was this amazing street performer with bright pink feathered costume, like myself! We chatted a bit and even compared our sparkles - oh the things we queens discuss! I love it when a whole town vibrates with a shared sense of joyful creativity.
Before I could even think of bidding a fond farewell to this most magical town, I just had to check out the famous "Tower Circus". It's almost impossible to believe how many clowns, acrobatics, and stunts they do! I'd seen them in a magazine as a kid, and it truly is worth visiting! You really get your moneys worth at this circus. There are even a few horses in a performance! You bet I'm a huge fan of horses - especially ones who wear pink tutus - or maybe thats just me! 😜 A little secret: if you take a look behind the stage of any show, you'll see all those amazing costumes laid out! My inner seamstress gets so excited seeing the details! It’s just another reason why a tutu-wearing queen loves visiting Blackpool. ✨ It truly has something for everyone - from big and small, and even those little bit older - I don't want to be sexist, so let's say seasoned travelers!
Now I may be getting carried away with this tale of sparkly wonder - but honestly every bit of this trip was the very BEST! Blackpool is full of life, vibrancy, and just good, plain fun. The town has this amazing atmosphere - the sea air, the happy giggles of children and even a few older (yes seasoned travelers 😜) who clearly know how to let loose!
There is something about the sea that calls to me. Whether I'm taking a dip, dancing on the sand, or catching a spectacular sunrise from the pier, I just LOVE it! I'm sure you know I love to go for walks too, but I don't mind walking even if its to look at shops - the best place for finding fun, fancy frocks and anything pink! My best outfits always include a bit of tulle! It really does add the sparkle and magic!💖
Every single town in this beautiful country is so full of beauty! It's my passion to travel and visit each one. And it's all made more fabulous when I'm decked out in my very favorite pink tutu! Who knows, maybe even I'll inspire some locals to discover their inner sparkle and embrace a pink tutu for a day, a week, or even a lifetime!
