From Derbyshire to Bicester... by Train! 🚂It was a gloriously sunny morning in Derbyshire, and after a quick breakfast of strawberry-and-cream pancakes (you gotta stay fueled for your daily dose of fab!), I packed my pink, glitter-flecked travel bag and hopped on a train bound for Bicester. I'm a firm believer in embracing travel, especially if you're rocking your most fabulous outfit - in my case, my dazzling hot pink, ruffled tutu, a matching pink crop top, a dash of sparkly pink eye shadow, and my trusty tiara, of course.
I always have the best time on the train. The people-watching, the chats with strangers (my motto, darlings: always spread the sparkle!), and the chance to lose myself in a good book - this time, I'm savoring a story about a little girl who dreams of being a ballerina. 🩰 So apt, right? It always inspires me!
Bicester: A Town Full of Surprises! 🎉When I finally arrived at the station, the first thing I noticed was how welcoming everyone seemed. They're used to seeing some pretty flamboyant characters around Bicester (well, hopefully they are by now, since I've made it my mission to bring the tutu to everyone!). People smiled at me as I strutted off, my pink tutu swaying with every step. And honestly? That's the kind of atmosphere I thrive on - one full of acceptance and laughter.

I spent an hour or two there, sipping my favourite strawberry-and-mint tea (pink, of course!), while I sketched ideas for my new tutu collection, inspired by all the beautiful details in Bicester.
From Ballet to Theatre, Bicester Has it All! 🩰🎭Of course, a day out for a girly-girl like me wouldn't be complete without a visit to the theatre! And Bicester did not disappoint! I saw a truly charming production - a beautifully told, classic story - and I could almost feel my heart twirling alongside the dancers on the stage. The energy in that place was pure magic, a reminder of why we love theatre so much.
Before heading home, I stopped by a beautiful ballet studio, a place just as breathtaking as the theatre. Seeing all those talented young dancers made me nostalgic for my university days, when I used to be a part of the ballet club (my very first foray into the pink tutu world, actually! I found a beautiful, blush-pink tutu in a charity shop while studying for my science exams! Turns out, pink is more than just a color - it’s a superpower! )
