Frome - Oh Darling, It's Tutu-licious!

#TutuQueen, Blog Post #7457, 2020-05-31

Well hello darlings! It's your favourite pink-tutu-wearing drag queen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, and oh my, where do I even start with this magical adventure in Frome? Let me tell you, it was tutu-licious!

Remember when I said I wanted to share my pink tutu love with the whole wide world? Well, Frome, you were my little haven, my tutu wonderland! Honestly, I think the whole town embraced me, tutus and all! You know I adore travelling by train, but let me tell you, the journey to Frome was pure delight. I saw fields of vibrant yellow wildflowers and the rolling hills of the Somerset countryside, all while I dreamt up a spectacular tutu look for my show that night. I have to say, nothing quite compares to the anticipation of a performance, the rush of adrenaline, the excitement of sharing your art with others - it's magical!

Now, about the performance! The venue was like a secret fairytale haven, tucked away in the heart of Frome, complete with twinkling fairy lights and a stage just begging for my dazzling entrance. Before my performance, I even had a little tea party with some lovely folks from the town, complete with dainty cucumber sandwiches, pink lemonade, and even a tiny pink cake for my tutu crown! We chatted about everything, from my favourite ballet shows (my current obsession is Swan Lake) to the best place to buy tulle fabric. Turns out Frome has this delightful little craft shop with the most divine collection of tulle and ribbon, just perfect for tutu-ing!

Speaking of tutus, oh my goodness! You should have seen the faces of the children in the audience! Their eyes were sparkling brighter than the fairy lights on the stage as I twirled and pranced in my fluffy, pink tutu, complete with dazzling sequins and feathers. They were totally captivated, laughing along to my silly jokes and joining in with my songs. I even had a little girl come up to me after the show, all shy and giggling, and she whispered, "I want to wear a tutu too!" That moment, darlings, made my whole year!

Iโ€™m absolutely mad for fashion, and Frome certainly had its fair share of stylish gems! I stumbled upon a darling vintage clothing shop and managed to find the most stunning pink jacket - it was like it was made for me! I practically twirled out of the shop with excitement. But I'll let you in on a secret... sometimes my favourite shopping spree isn't even in the shops.

Remember how I told you Iโ€™m a scientist by day? Well, in the lab, I get to play with fabrics! The most exciting part? It's like a massive dress-up box! Itโ€™s the perfect training for the art of the tutu, especially with the exciting and glamorous materials I get to play with. Who needs expensive shops when youโ€™ve got a science lab, right? Itโ€™s truly fascinating and surprisingly fashionable!

After my fabulous show in Frome, I made my way to a quiet meadow, all wildflowers and soft, green grass. The sunset was an absolute showstopper, painting the sky in vibrant oranges and purples. As the sun went down, I sat in the meadow, just thinking about the magic of life, the joy of sharing my love for tutus with the world, and the incredible journey I'm on. Iโ€™m living my best life, you know! Spreading the love of the pink tutu, one town at a time.

So, darling, I'm off again to spread some sparkle and glitter! Follow my pink-tutu trail on www.pink-tutu.com - my latest adventure awaits, and who knows, maybe you'll even see me prancing in your local town soon! Just remember, with a bit of glitter and a touch of pink, anything is possible! Keep dancing, keep shining, and keep on wearing your tutu, darlings!

Yours truly,

Pink Tutu Sparkles xx

P.S. What's your favourite tutu colour? Mine will always be pink, naturally! And tell me about your latest tutu adventures! You know, I love hearing all about them!
