Now, I’ve told you before about how my journey began in Derbyshire – a simple science student, obsessed with pink, finding a life-changing tutu during a university charity event. And from that moment on, my life has been a magical whirlwind of pink fluff and shimmering dreams.
It was during a ballet class (always a firm favourite in my life!) that I decided to take on the Norfolk countryside – I love that rural charm! Imagine it: sunbeams bouncing off rolling hills, ancient churches tucked away in quiet corners, and the sound of a distant seagull. Well, for someone as theatrical as me, it’s practically begging for a photo-op!
Train Tracks & Twirls:
So naturally, I travelled in style – a train journey is just about the best way to experience the English countryside. All that countryside air! And did I mention the cute vintage teacups? Don’t worry, I kept the pink theme alive with a matching pink hat and gloves. Honestly, I was practically a living vision of a pink ballet dancer on wheels!
A Fairytale Norwich
Once in Norwich, my darling, I simply had to indulge in a bit of old-world charm! The Norwich Cathedral is truly magnificent – and the sound of the carillon bells echoing across the city? Oh, a moment of pure bliss. But let’s be honest – the most gorgeous aspect? The vibrant floral displays! Honestly, these flowers are brighter than my entire wardrobe!
Sharing the Love
And no trip would be complete without a little bit of community outreach, would it? I popped into the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, handing out a bit of glittery magic (and a handful of pink tutus for the children!). They were so happy, all giggles and excitement – it warms this Tutu Queen’s heart right through!
Dancing in the Streets
Now, a queen's got to do what a queen's got to do. And Norwich? It's simply asking to be danced on! So naturally, I took to the cobbled streets. I spun and twirled, all graceful elegance and glittery flair. You wouldn't believe the looks on people's faces – a little shock at first, followed by huge grins and delighted shrieks!
A Feast for the Senses:
I mustn't forget my love for all things delicious! Oh, those delicious Norfolk sausages – a flavour explosion! And let's not forget the traditional sticky toffee pudding (oh, so very comforting!) I’m thinking about whipping up a pink toffee sauce… it’s a little too sparkly, maybe, but what do I know about rules?!
