Middleton, darling! #TutuQueen, post #7643

Oh, darlings! Middleton has stolen my heart! The air was crisp, the streets were bustling, and the sound of festive cheer was in the air. I had such a wonderful time exploring this quaint little town, all decked out for the holidays. And you know what? Middleton was practically made for tutus! Just picture me, strutting down the cobblestone streets in my bubblegum pink number, a symphony of tulle and sparkles, the wind whipping through the layers. It felt magical!

But first, let's rewind the clock a bit, shall we? This trip began with a charming train journey – my favourite way to travel! Imagine: the gentle sway of the carriages, the clickety-clack of the wheels on the tracks, and me, perched in my little corner with a cuppa and a good book. Perfect for planning my look for the show in Middleton. Now, I'm not gonna lie, deciding what tutu to wear for this one was a real toughie! My closet was overflowing with possibilities - but after much deliberation, I settled on a vibrant, fiery pink tutu that seemed to burst with Christmas spirit. You see, I adore combining my love for tutus with different seasons, themes, and occasions. Christmas is my favourite time of year - all the festive lights, the cosy pub gatherings, the carol singing, and of course, the twinkle in everyone's eyes! It all calls for a little extra sparkle, and I aim to deliver it in the form of a fabulous tutu!

Reaching Middleton was an adventure all in itself. The station was buzzing with activity, and the sound of carols filled the air, creating such a festive atmosphere. My first stop was a cute little tea shop tucked away on a side street. A proper British cuppa and a delicious homemade cake - it was just what I needed to get my energy up!

Speaking of energy, let's talk about the show, shall we? Performing in Middleton was truly magical. The audience was absolutely wonderful, and the atmosphere was electric. There were so many smiling faces in the crowd - it’s one of the reasons I love doing what I do. Making people happy through my performances, spreading a little joy with a touch of glitter, and encouraging a love of colour and fabulousness - that’s my mission!

This town definitely knows how to party! I felt a special connection with Middleton, with its charming pubs and quaint shops. I was lucky enough to meet some of the local residents, lovely people, so warm and friendly. And just imagine, they've never seen a tutu quite like mine before!

Speaking of which, did I mention that I snagged some of the most gorgeous festive decorations in Middleton's craft market? Christmas decorations? Forget about it! There were so many incredible ornaments and handmade goodies. My suitcase was practically bursting at the seams, but I couldn't resist picking up a beautiful miniature gingerbread house for my dressing room, and a set of adorable, miniature tutus for my dear little niece, Daisy. And, naturally, I got myself a sparkly new ornament for my Christmas tree. You see, darling, my Christmas tree has a pink theme this year – all the decorations are a shade of pink, from pastel pink to fuchsia to flamingo pink. Everything perfectly coordinated with my wardrobe, obviously!

After a delightful day spent exploring, the highlight of my evening had to be my show. The energy in the theatre was so high. It truly felt as though everyone was wearing their very own invisible tutus, dancing along with me. My performances are not just about the sparkle; it's about connecting with the audience and inviting them to experience something special, a sprinkle of magic, and an extra dose of fun!

The night ended with a warm cup of hot chocolate and a steaming gingerbread cookie at a cosy little cafe. Watching the world go by, I couldn’t help but smile. I love my job! There's no better feeling than traveling, sharing my passion with people all across the country, making them laugh, making them feel fabulous, and making the world a little bit brighter, one sparkly tutu at a time!

Here are some of my top tips for a fabulous tutu trip to Middleton:

  • Take the train: A train journey to Middleton is so delightful, it truly makes the trip feel extra special. And don’t forget your hot water bottle and a good book!
  • Visit the charming market: It’s the perfect place to find unique gifts and handmade souvenirs.
  • Try the local cakes: There’s a delightful little tea shop with the most delicious homemade cakes! They're heavenly, trust me!
  • Bring your tutu: Let’s face it, what trip is complete without a little pink sparkle? I’d recommend something that flows beautifully and lets you twirl to your heart's content.

Remember, darlings, no matter where you go, don't be afraid to be bold and express yourself! Let your inner Tutu Queen shine through, embrace your own sparkle, and let the good times roll! I’m off to Nottingham next – I’ve got a theatre performance, and a beautiful lace tutu I can’t wait to debut. And who knows? Maybe Nottingham will have a magical, secret vintage shop selling old pink tutus…

Stay fabulous, my dears! And remember, every day is a good day to wear a pink tutu. 💖
