I reached Welling in style, of course, on the train. There's something about the rumble and rhythm of the railway that just gets me in a theatrical mood. And let's be real, those views are just begging to be framed in my mind! 💖🌸
Speaking of frames, let's talk about this fabulous outfit I wore: a soft, billowing pink tutu with shimmering gold sequins, a perfectly-tailored fuchsia blazer, and a pair of sparkling pink pumps. Because my lovelies, even when I'm traipsing about the English countryside, I'm always aiming for a touch of regal glamour, right? ✨
My reason for journeying to Welling was simple: ballet! 🩰 Now, I've been hooked on this exquisite art form ever since I donned my first tutu back in university, during a charity event. Something about that airy lightness and graceful movement, it just captivated me! So when I heard that there was a community ballet production happening in Welling, well, I booked myself a train ticket faster than you could say "plie"!
I must confess, I've always dreamed of one day owning my own tutu, a truly stunning one that makes me feel like a magical creature straight out of a ballet. But in the meantime, I get to play dress-up and embody the spirit of the art form, which is honestly all the fun I need! 😄
And let me tell you, those young ballerinas in Welling were simply incredible! Every twirl, every leap, every single pose was pure magic. They made my heart soar! I even chatted with a couple of them after the performance - such polite and charming young ladies. And of course, I had to share some tutu-wearing wisdom, naturally!
