This time, I'm whisking you away to the charming market town of Abingdon, where history and beauty blend seamlessly, just like my perfect pink tutu and sparkly eyeshadow!

This week's travel escapade had me taking a long and lovely train journey, gazing out the window as the countryside whizzed past, painted in shades of green and brown, punctuated by little villages that seemed to whisper secrets of bygone days.

My Abingdon adventure was a dream come true! It all started with a phone call, my agent (my fabulous sister, Millie) telling me about this fantastic festival celebrating the arts and culture. Now, if there's one thing that gets Pink Tutu Sparkles going, it's art in all its forms! Ballet, theatre, painting, and yes, even performance art – bring it on!

So, armed with my latest custom-made tutu – oh, it was a show-stopper, my darlings, a magnificent, cascading waterfall of pink tulle – and my lucky pink sparkly shoes, I boarded the train, a vision in shimmering pink perfection.

The journey was punctuated with laughs and smiles from fellow passengers, all eager to get a glimpse of the pink princess on board. Naturally, I had to check out the arts and crafts market first, a treasure trove of handcrafted delights, from delicate painted porcelain figures to colourful knitted scarves. I found myself mesmerised by the artistry on display.

My heart really soared, though, when I stumbled upon a tiny studio hosting a ballet performance. Imagine my delight! I knew it was fate. How could Pink Tutu Sparkles possibly miss an opportunity like this? A performance! And ballet, the pinnacle of grace and artistry! I literally squealed with excitement – the sound echoing in the quaint street!

The performance was breathtaking, the dancers moving with such fluid elegance, their tutus shimmering under the stage lights, evoking the magic of fairytales. I couldn't help but dreamily imagine myself gliding across the stage, a cloud of pink tulle and sparkle.

Afterwards, I found myself chatting with one of the dancers, a sweet young woman named Clara. We discussed the artistry of ballet, her passion, and how important it was for young dancers to see other people's artistic vision realised, on a stage, under the lights. We bonded over our love for tutus – oh, she’d heard about Pink Tutu Sparkles, and I was completely thrilled!

But this adventure was about more than just admiring beauty; I'm a drag artist, after all! Pink Tutu Sparkles couldn’t possibly just sit back and observe. It was time for some showmanship, to add my unique pink twist to the festivities.

With a twirl of my pink tutu and a wink of my sparkly eyes, I strutted onto the town square, my music blaring, announcing my arrival. The crowds were thrilled! It turned out the square had been booked for a performance later that evening, but there were many willing to pause their shopping and chatting to enjoy a song and dance, and who wouldn’t with my dazzling, captivating show!

As always, my message of pink joy, fun, and embracing one’s individuality was received with open arms. Kids shrieked in delight at the spectacle, adults cheered, and the music just filled the air with love. Even a few local dancers joined me, whirling their pink tutus with as much joy as my heart!

By evening, my energy was starting to wane, but I pushed on. After all, every Pink Tutu Sparkles performance must end on a high note. With one final flourish and a sassy curtsey, I bid farewell to my Abingdon audience. I walked away, the air thick with the sweet melodies of applause, a perfect ending to my journey in this enchanting town.
