Blackpool is one of my favourite places to visit in the UK! It’s got that perfect mix of old-school seaside charm, a healthy dose of entertainment, and a whole lot of delicious candy floss. Just stepping off the train and into the crisp sea air fills me with such a joyous sense of adventure! Plus, the journey itself is part of the experience – there’s something about train travel that makes you feel like you're on a real adventure!
First Stop: The Grand Promenade
What's a visit to Blackpool without a walk along the iconic promenade?! ☀️ It's bustling with life, a melting pot of colours and sounds! There's always a vibrant energy in the air - whether you're being swept away by the sound of seagulls or enjoying the chatter of holidaymakers! I simply love the mix of people you see - families laughing as they head towards the Pleasure Beach, groups of friends strolling along, and even some other queens on their own journeys of adventure. 😉
Speaking of adventure, my favourite spot on the promenade is right next to the grand pier. That's where I set up shop, right in the middle of all the action! It’s an ideal location to capture all the amazing energy – from the crashing waves to the joyful sounds of the seafront. But most importantly, it's a great platform for a proper "Pink Tutu Queen" photo op! 📸 I absolutely adore the way the pink reflects in the blue sea. A total fashion and photography moment!
Performing the Magic of Pink!
Once my glam photoshoot is done, it's time for some performance magic! My little Blackpool show was absolutely fantastic. 🤸♀️✨The crowds loved it! And to top it off, I had a chance to talk to some of them afterwards - spreading the joy of the pink tutu gospel. 💖 It's truly heart-warming to see how everyone, from kids to grandmas, responds with such excitement.
And speaking of children… I was even invited to perform at a birthday party, a real treat! The kids were SO enthusiastic – I truly love getting those excited squeals as my pink tutu swirls in the air. 🤩 You can’t buy that kind of magic!
The Beauty of a Day in Blackpool
I ended my day in Blackpool at the Pleasure Beach, enjoying a spin on one of those legendary rollercoasters. 🎢 The speed, the wind in your hair, and the screams of pure joy... There's something truly exhilarating about feeling the freedom of those giant rides. You just can’t beat it!
I ended my day back on the promenade, enjoying some fresh fish and chips (my personal favourite seaside indulgence) watching the beautiful sunset over the sea. What an incredible day!
Finding my Tutu Sisters
The wonderful thing about visiting a new place is meeting new people. On this trip, I encountered a few fabulous "Pink Tutu Sisters" – fellow queen lovers of all things sparkly, who came out to share a giggle and enjoy some bubbly. 💕 You never know where you might find those special people! It's what makes our pink tutu community so wonderfully strong, inclusive, and full of surprises! We always embrace new members with open arms – or should I say, open twirling tutu skirts? 😄
Blackpool: A Reflection of Myself!
One last thing about Blackpool, darling… this beautiful seaside town really reflects my personal style – a place where sparkle meets tradition, colour explodes, and anything is possible! The playful, quirky spirit that embodies this city is one I deeply resonate with. It reminds me to keep things fun, to embrace my own vibrant, bold personality. 💕 It’s a perfect reflection of who I am - an optimistic, adventurous, pink tutu queen!
