Today I’m bringing you the dazzling details of my latest adventure: a whirlwind trip to the seaside gem of Hove! 🌊 It's a seaside town in Sussex and oh my, it’s just so lovely! It has that perfect blend of seaside charm, vintage elegance, and modern vibrancy that makes it absolutely irresistible!
This trip, my darlings, was extra special as it involved a thrilling journey by horse! Yes, you read that right, a horse! Now, I know you might think a pink tutu wearing drag queen on horseback is a little… unusual…but let me tell you, it’s every bit as magical as you’d imagine! ✨🐴 It certainly got me lots of curious glances – in a good way, of course! 😜
And, like a perfect storybook journey, my trip was punctuated by a divine ballet performance at the gorgeous Hove Theatre. 🎭 Let me tell you, there’s nothing quite like experiencing the magic of live ballet. The grace of the dancers, the emotion of the music, the whole atmosphere... it simply leaves you breathless!
This particular ballet production featured some beautiful original choreography. You just couldn't take your eyes off the talented dancers, especially the solo performances. The delicate movements, the expressive facial expressions... oh, it was divine! The whole experience transported me right back to my own ballet days – yes, before I was Pink Tutu Sparkles, I was a wee little dancer. A long time ago… I think… 🤔😅 I was such a keen ballet student, always begging my mum to let me take more classes and attend every single performance in the village hall. Oh, what blissful memories! ❤️
And of course, no trip to the seaside is complete without a fabulous bit of shopping! 🛍️ Hove has an amazing array of quirky boutiques and independent shops - just perfect for a discerning fashionista like myself. I found some stunning, sparkly pink earrings, just what I needed to add that extra touch of glamour to my wardrobe! 💅 My secret stash of new shoes is already at an embarrassing size, but the sparkly pink glittered platforms I found in a quirky shop by the beach? They were meant to be! 💕
After a day full of wonder, my fabulous Hove adventure wouldn't have been complete without a divine afternoon tea! ☕️🍰 I simply adore a spot of traditional afternoon tea, and Hove had several lovely places to choose from. My pick? The prettiest little cafe with an adorable courtyard garden overflowing with roses and pink hydrangeas. What more could a tutu queen want!
I absolutely fell in love with Hove. It’s the kind of place you simply want to soak up all the charm. The vibe? Positively radiating happiness, from the cheerful shopkeepers and market vendors to the friendly locals. I know, it sounds too good to be true… but it truly is a magical place!
Before I wrap up this post, let's talk about my journey there! Because yes, darling, a TutuQueen does not travel by conventional means! This time, it was a horseback adventure – oh, the thrill of it! 🐴 Imagine me, resplendent in my pinkest tutu, atop a noble steed! I made quite a spectacle for the folks who happened to pass by on the scenic lanes of the Sussex countryside. 🌳 You should’ve seen the expressions on their faces – I’m sure many will be chatting about the “Pink Tutu Horsewoman" for years to come! 😁
