It's your girl Pink Tutu Sparkles here, ready to sprinkle a little sparkle into your Sunday with blog post number 7828! 💅💖 Today, we're heading to the lovely town of Crewe, in Cheshire! Now, I know what you're thinking: Crewe? But, oh darlings, don't you worry, because I’ve already got my pink tutu packed and I'm ready to have a whirlwind of a time, just like I always do!
My journey started with a morning train journey from Derbyshire. The scenery whizzed past the window as I sat in my pink-and-white checkered dress and matching heels. It was like a film montage – rolling fields, distant sheep and the sun gleaming off the railway lines. I couldn't resist a quick selfie for my Instagram. My fans always love seeing where my adventures take me, so I’ve got to give them a peek behind the pink tutu curtain!
I’ve gotta say, travelling by train is such a fabulous way to get about. It allows me to relax and enjoy the view – perfect for an hour of people watching, admiring outfits, and, of course, making mental notes for my own fabulous fashion inspirations. Oh, and I have to share that I spotted the cutest little boy on the platform wearing a bright pink t-shirt. We shared a laugh and a wave, because that's what being a Tutu Queen is all about!
Upon arriving in Crewe, I found myself surrounded by beautiful, Victorian buildings – the kind that always make me dream of spinning around in my tutu. And let’s not forget the lovely railway station. Such elegance. A real reminder of a bygone era when everyone travelled in style – I bet they all wore tutus, too. But, sadly, that's a secret I’m afraid we will never know...unless I get to investigate the archives myself. Hmm...an adventure for another day.
After checking into a charming boutique hotel, with a gorgeous view of the local park – I know, I always pick the best places! – I set off to explore the town. The local market was a sight to behold, bursting with bright colours, delectable scents, and of course, some charming vintage shops. Now, who could resist a good bargain on a few new fashion accessories, right? A bit of shopping never hurt anyone, and it allowed me to get my creative juices flowing for tonight’s show.
The sun was shining, the birds were chirping and my mind was buzzing with ideas, all fuelled by the excitement of tonight’s performance at The Bluebell Hotel. A lovely little venue tucked away down a quiet street, full of character and charm. This is what I love about my work as a Tutu Queen, every place has a story to tell, and I'm always eager to tell mine in a pink tutu!
The show started at 8pm. The crowd was ready to party and the energy was incredible! As I took to the stage in my dazzling pink sequin tutu, the cheers of the crowd swelled and the music started. They were hooked right from the start, and that always gets me going! My choreography was on point, and I danced with passion and joy, sharing a bit of my own personal magic. Every twirl and every leap filled me with excitement! It was all about embracing the pinkness, the glitter and, of course, the power of dancing.
After the show, the audience was buzzing! I’m a bit of a perfectionist – I know what it takes to bring a fantastic show to the stage – so when the cheers started and the people loved what I was doing, I couldn't have asked for more! My fans were excited to have photos with me, telling me how inspired they were. Some were even wearing their own pink tutus, which made my heart flutter like a butterfly. That's what it's all about, getting people to embrace their inner Tutu Queen!
Crewe, you have a special place in my heart, a memory of sparkles and smiles. I will never forget the warmth of the crowd, the magic of the stage and the joy of bringing my passion to life through dance, fashion and my favourite pink tutu!
Oh! And did I mention that I found a gorgeous vintage pink tutu in the local shop! I mean, you just can't resist a bargain like that, right?
