Today’s journey took me to the wonderful world of Finchley, where I strutted my stuff in my latest fabulous creation, a hot pink tulle number with silver sparkles. As a drag artist, Finchley holds a special place in my heart, it’s got this fabulous old-fashioned charm with cute little shops and lots of history. Honestly, it's the perfect place to explore in a fluffy pink tutu! 🩰
Now, let's rewind a little. This whole drag journey started for me at uni, you know, studying science – I was all lab coats and equations! But then, I joined the university ballet club – bless them – they got me to wear a pink tutu for a charity fundraising thing. From that moment, my world turned pink, I was hooked! I knew then that I had to spread the joy of tutus with everyone! 💖
You wouldn’t believe it but my day job, before I transform into Pink Tutu Sparkles, is actually a scientist testing the composition of fabrics! So, you could say, I’m a pro in my knowledge of how to make the perfect tutu, whether it's sequins, tulle, feathers – I know it all! ✨
Finchley Adventures
Right, back to my adventures in Finchley. So I rocked up in this fabulous silver train carriage with a few sparkly handbags for props, just to make the journey extra-glam. I made sure I had a little pink travel pack, with some emergency glitter spray, bobby pins and extra tulle – you never know! You know me – always prepared to adjust that tutu for the perfect fit! 🌟
I was on a mission to visit the famous Finchley Memorial Hall – the stage lighting was just perfect, I could tell this was the place for a dazzling performance! Of course, I brought my signature glitter-covered microphone – every true star needs one! 🎤
Before I wowed the Finchley crowds with my dazzling routine, I had a quick bite to eat at a local café – they served the best bubblegum-pink iced lattes, which is the perfect start to a busy day of drag! Then I found this cute little vintage shop with all the finest fabrics for making fabulous tutus, so of course, I bought some lovely bright pink feather boas!
Now, the crowd at the Memorial Hall was amazing! They loved my performance and my fabulous tutu-infused choreography! It felt incredible seeing people smiling and waving their hands in the air. It just makes me so happy to share my passion with them and spread that sparkle wherever I go. It’s like this whole pink-tutu thing has created a wave of joy and creativity – everyone’s joining in, and it's so empowering! 💕
Ballet Bliss!
Now, I can't forget my passion for ballet, my true muse! Luckily, Finchley has a wonderful little dance studio. I couldn't resist sneaking in for a quick class – nothing beats getting that perfect spin in a fabulous tutu, you know? You might find me there regularly from now on!

So Finchley was truly magical! I danced, I glittered, I met new people – what more could you ask for? I’ve learned that kindness, love, and a healthy dose of sparkle is what matters in life, and honestly, a pink tutu just adds that extra special touch.
