Hello darlings! It’s Pink Tutu Sparkles here, fresh off the train and ready to dazzle Littlehampton! You know, sometimes you just gotta shake things up. Ditch the heels, grab a pink tutu and let the wind carry you to the coast. That’s what I did! I've swapped my usual platform pumps for trusty ballet slippers – think I'm bringing the sparkle to Littlehampton's Promenade by foot! 😉
I just love exploring Britain's coastal towns. They’re so charming! Today's a full day of exploration - imagine me, a whirlwind of pink tutus and glittery happiness, just a whisper away from the sea! I’m not going to lie, I might have booked a room at The Grand, you know, the one that feels like you’ve just stepped into a Victorian era seaside postcard? Talk about a little bit of pink-tastic magic!
But darling, this wasn’t just about escaping to the seaside for a change of scenery! It’s about – drumroll – spreading the tutu love, of course!
Let’s rewind for a moment. Did I ever tell you about the time I first tried on a pink tutu? Picture it: me, your local science whizz, wearing a lab coat by day and a tutu by night! 🙈
It was back when I was in university. You know, that place filled with endless deadlines and caffeine-fueled all-nighters? A bunch of us were fundraising for the local animal shelter, and one of the brave souls from the university ballet club decided to organise a “Dress as Your Favourite Princess” charity night. And what does a good scientist do when presented with a challenge like this? They embrace it with all their scientific know-how! So, I got all dressed up, feeling every bit like Cinderella, minus the glass slippers. Well, not quite, because what did I do but pick the most extravagant tutu? This giant fluffy thing – the colour of bubblegum and dreams! Honestly, it took about six volunteers to hold it up and even then it was almost on the floor. But it was FUN, darling!
Fast forward to today, and well, the love affair has just continued. Now it’s me in a dazzling pink tutu, performing my little heart out at every single venue that'll have me! It’s about embracing your passions, embracing the absurd, and most importantly, embracing the pink!
