As you know, your Pink Tutu Sparkles loves nothing more than a good old fashioned road trip, and Southampton was calling! Now, we could have gone the usual way – a quick trip in the car, right? But this girly was feeling fancy, and nothing says “glamour” quite like a train journey! ??
Don’t get me wrong, I adore our Derbyshire countryside, but let me tell you, there’s something utterly magical about watching the world whiz past you from the comfort of a plush carriage. My favourite bit? The sandwiches! ?✨ Nothing quite beats a proper ham and mustard on crusty bread to fuel the sparkle in a Pink Tutu Sparkles!
Anyway, onto Southampton! Oh, it was a true gem! Imagine a beautiful seaside town, buzzing with life and excitement – imagine a city with a beautiful park that has stunning views out to the sea, the perfect setting for a Pink Tutu picnic with the girls. You have just imagined the heart of Southampton, this is the place that captured my heart. And then there's the theatre scene – I mean, have you seen the Mayflower Theatre? Oh, it was practically begging for a Pink Tutu Sparkles to grace its stage! ?
My schedule in Southampton was positively bursting with events, so I had to whip out my pink sequined organiser. My day started off with a quick but crucial fashion pit-stop at the gorgeous Westquay shopping centre. It’s a drag queen’s dream come true, believe me! Glittering gems, divine dresses, and a whole rainbow of pink, of course. ??
Speaking of colour, I have to tell you, Southampton was just dripping with it! All those pastel-coloured houses – you could say I was living in a Pink Tutu Sparkles paradise! It's just perfect.
The highlight of my Southampton visit had to be the show I performed at The Loft Bar in the city centre. The crowd was electric, I’m talking sheer glitter and glam – exactly the type of energy this Pink Tutu Sparkles thrives on! And I have to say, a Pink Tutu never fails to get a crowd going, trust me. You could literally feel the love in the air as we shimmied, spun, and sprinkled the magic of Pink Tutu Sparkles! ?✨
Oh, and I can’t forget the glorious sea! ? It was calling to me, demanding a walk on the golden sands. It’s truly the ultimate way to unwind and find a bit of inner peace. Plus, let's face it, every fabulous Pink Tutu Queen needs to have a stunning sunset photoshoot in their sparkling dress! ?✨
Speaking of dresses, let’s talk about the fashion, darling! I brought my fabulous hot pink, sequined, tulle dress to show the Southampton crowd just how it's done, the girls loved it. I knew the town had to see my most iconic pink tutu too, but then again I just love pink. It was simply begging for an epic photo op against the beautiful colours of this harbourside town. This Pink Tutu Sparkles couldn’t resist capturing the moment! ?
And no trip to Southampton is complete without a spot of theatre magic, right? So, naturally, a ballet class was a must-do! It’s my little ritual; finding a local ballet school, slipping into my tutu, and swirling and pirouette with the beautiful ballet girls. It’s pure joy for this Pink Tutu Queen! ??
