Hello darlings, and welcome back to Pink-Tutu.com! Your girl Pink Tutu Sparkles is back with another adventure, this time from the City of Lights itself - Paris!
Oh, Paris, you are so magical! I'm already obsessed. I can feel it in my sparkly heart, the pink tutu just needs to touch every corner of this fabulous city! Let me tell you, travelling by train was a total delight! The carriages were so grand and I had a comfy spot by the window for my pinkest outfit to show off for all the world! My travel companion for this fabulous journey, darling Dolly (who else?) was on hand to make sure my hair was in its perfect fluffy beehive and my makeup looked flawless for the arrival shots - you'll see these on the Pink-Tutu Instagram soon!
I'm staying in a chic little hotel right near the Seine! It’s got this fab view of the Eiffel Tower! Seriously, what a dream location! Of course, I have to look my best for this gorgeous Parisian backdrop, and what else could it be but... a pink tutu?! (But I think we all knew that already.)
My first order of business in Paris? Why, the Ballet of course! Paris has such a rich history of ballet, and the dancing is exquisite! I just knew a Parisian ballet performance would inspire a new design for a Pink-Tutu collection. You know how it is, inspiration just hits you in the most amazing ways! I'm thinking lots of black, maybe some tulle that swirls with elegance and some little touches of… yes… more pink! And those are just a few of my early thoughts!
Let's Talk Tutu, My Lovelies!
Oh, the tutus! You simply can't resist a ballet, or visit Paris, without a magnificent tutu or two! And I couldn't go to Paris without making a trip to a beautiful, chic shop selling some of the most divine dancewear, so obviously, my first order of business was tutu shopping. And don't even get me started on the fabric stores in Paris, I practically cried tears of joy.
I have to say, Parisians are SO stylish, you'd be forgiven for thinking every person on the street had stepped straight out of a chic fashion magazine! Everyone here looks so polished. I’ve even spotted a few Parisian ladies wearing their own versions of pink tutus, and it made me so excited. The future of tutus is definitely pink! And if you saw the array of shops around here, well, darling you know you can always buy another pink tutu, no matter where you are in the world. This city is seriously on trend.
Paris is overflowing with beauty! The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe… you literally can't turn a corner without finding something awe-inspiring. The street performers in Paris are another layer of excitement and creativity! From mimes, to jugglers to even… wait for it…. a ballet dancer! How fantastic is that?!
And the food! My darlings, the food here is out of this world! I've been indulging in some seriously yummy French cuisine. Croissants, pain au chocolat, perfectly creamy cheeseburgers and wine - every meal feels like a delicious adventure.
Finding a Sparkles-Tutu Dream!
My favourite thing about Paris is all the street life. Everywhere you go, there's always something going on, people chatting, laughing, dancing, and enjoying themselves! And just look at that iconic Paris cafe life! Watching all those glamorous Parisians sip coffee and chat, you feel like you are in a film!
Paris is a haven for arts and culture. The galleries and museums are brimming with creativity. They’ve even got these fun and whimsical performances in the metro – which just added to the fun! My darlings, it's not called the City of Lights for nothing!
Today I took a ballet class! And wouldn’t you know, right in the middle of the heart of Paris! Talk about a fabulous way to connect with my artistic self. I'm finding this trip is filling up fast, I have a dance workshop lined up in the Marais, then a cabaret performance in Montmartre next week – oh and I've already spotted the venue for a special Pink-Tutu party! Now that’s my style!
My time here has been truly unforgettable. I can see myself returning to Paris again and again! There’s nothing better than soaking up a bit of that Parisian chic – the fashion, the sights, the architecture, the Pink Tutu culture!
Tutu-Style Tip: Don't be afraid to experiment with colour when you're in Paris! Try a pink tutu in the streets. Embrace your creativity, the city itself is just asking to have a bit of Pink Tutu Sparkles!
