Oh, Middleton, how I've dreamt of you! I've heard whispered tales of your charming cobbled streets, quaint tea shops, and vibrant theatre scene. And what better way to experience all of this magic than in a gloriously pink tutu, naturally! ✨
Now, I know what you're thinking. "A train ride in a tutu, Alex? Are you sure?" Let me tell you, honey, there's no better way to arrive in style! I packed my signature pink-hued travel case (you'd be surprised what I fit in there - including my extra-fluffy pink boa) and boarded the first train I could find. It felt like stepping back in time - plush red seats, vintage luggage racks, and a gentle rhythmic clatter. Absolutely delightful!
The journey was filled with unexpected surprises. A little old lady complimented me on my tutu ("Absolutely divine, dear!" she said), and a dapper gentleman in a top hat insisted on carrying my luggage (pure chivalry, darlings!). Even the train guard couldn't resist flashing me a dazzling smile! The whole experience was simply magical.
My first stop was the Middleton Theatre! My dear, they're holding a special ballet gala this weekend and I just HAD to see it. Now, I know what you're thinking: But Alex, you’ve got your own dancing, your own act. But you know me, a girl can never have too much ballet. This show promised dazzling costumes, elegant choreography, and an incredible display of artistry. And you better believe my own pink tulle creation will be making an appearance, nestled perfectly amongst the stunning ballerinas! 🩰
Then, after my ballet-inspired shopping spree (gotta get some new feather boas, darling!) I'll be whisking myself off to The Buttercup Café for afternoon tea. Did you know Middleton boasts the best clotted cream in all of England? Honestly, the anticipation is killing me! My fellow tutu enthusiast, Amelia Buttercup (who you may know from our fabulous London show together!), is hosting a pop-up ballet shop nearby, showcasing some gorgeous vintage tutus for sale. I mean, who could resist a vintage tutu, especially one that might match my pink ensemble perfectly?! ✨
I'm so excited for all the wonderful experiences Middleton has in store for me! From exploring the local crafts markets (where I’ll be on the lookout for unique fabric textures, perhaps for my next tutu creation!) to experiencing the magical world of the Middleton Ballet School, I’m ready for an adventure unlike any other!
But, I can't forget the real reason I'm here - to spread the love of pink tutus, one twinkle at a time! If you see me walking down the streets of Middleton, you know what to do: shout, "Hello Tutu Queen!" or, if you're feeling bold, ask for a twirl! You never know, we might even end up collaborating on a fabulous new dance routine...
