Huyton, Calling! Pink Tutu Sparkles Does The North! #8463

Hiya darlings! ๐Ÿ’‹๐Ÿ’– Pink Tutu Sparkles here, your favourite pink-tutu-loving, glitter-bombing queen, ready to report from the heart of... Huyton! Yes, the very North of England, that's where your girl landed this week, and let me tell you, I am feeling every single bit of this epic journey! This is blog post #8463, folks! It's a record-breaking number for this sparkly old broad, and I'm determined to make it a good'un, even if my high heels have definitely seen better days. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Now, I know what you're thinking: "Huyton? Really, Pink Tutu Sparkles? Isn't that a bit... rough around the edges for our glam queen?" Well, darlings, as I always say, there's glamour in everything! Even in a place where you can barely find a pink shop let alone a designer boutique (don't even get me started on the limited edition tutu choices!), the right attitude can transform anything into an extraordinary experience! And you bet your bottom dollar this queen is ready to bring a dose of fabulous to this town. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ’–

Speaking of getting there, it was quite the journey, wouldn't you agree? I am a firm believer in travel by train โ€“ it gives me a chance to properly get dressed up and enjoy the scenery! Honestly, darlings, this journey was nothing short of fabulous! It's just so romantic. Especially as I got myself a window seat next to a delightful lady, absolutely beaming in a lovely knitted scarf. ๐Ÿงถ I think it was pink... ๐Ÿ˜‰ Anyway, the countryside flew past and by the time I'd finished perfecting my glitter make-up and my lips, the world just seemed that little bit brighter, wouldn't you say?

Anyway, I was definitely channeling my inner Cinderella as I arrived in Huyton! It felt so charming and traditional... though honestly, those train station toilets definitely weren't quite what I'd call 'fairy tale'! Oh, but before we delve into that delightful experience, tell me, have you been to Huyton?

It felt like a trip back in time for your girl! Brick buildings, lots of history - you could practically hear echoes of the past in the air. ๐Ÿคซ๐Ÿ’– Now, it might not be as famous for its culture as, say, London or Manchester (don't even get me started on Manchester's fantastic Royal Exchange Theatre... I need to go back! It just screams glam, darlings!). But that just means I get to introduce some of that Pink Tutu Sparkles magic to the local folks. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

So where did I end up? Why, in the most fantastic little theatre, nestled amongst a row of old pubs and chippies, and boasting a little poster right outside advertising "Pink Tutu Sparkles - Come experience the magic!" ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’– Oh darling, just wait until you hear about this performance! You're gonna love this, let me tell you...

My show was... let's say... "dynamic" with all the traditional hallmarks. You can imagine: a generous sprinkling of sparkle (enough to blind a man!), dramatic costumes that would make a peaco jealous (the entire audience went wild when I did a full pirouette on that massive tutu! I tell ya, that fabric can really take you to places, ladies!), singing with more vocal runs than you could shake a glitter-encrusted wand at! ๐Ÿ˜‰ The performance included everything from classics like "New York, New York," and the power anthem of our time, "Bohemian Rhapsody," (the entire room practically exploded when I belted out those high notes!). Of course, there were also some fun numbers like "Let It Go" from the "Frozen" film (all those children were entranced!). Let's just say, when I finished with my own little rendition of "I'm So Fancy" by Iggy Azalea - oh baby, I brought down the house!

Speaking of fabulous, let's chat a little about what this queen was wearing, because you know we're all about that life! And when I say fabulous, honey, I mean F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S! My dress? A glorious confection of layers and layers of chiffon, pink, obviously (wouldn't be Pink Tutu Sparkles without the pink!), with silver sparkles for good measure. This baby was a total statement, a total work of art!

Oh, and that tutu! It was pure enchantment, the most incredible shade of magenta (no other shade of pink is good enough for your girl, let's be honest, right?). Layers and layers of soft, fluffy tulle - absolutely heavenly! I did have a slight 'accident' getting out of my car on the way to the theatre! Oh my God, it almost happened again when I came back! But no one saw the embarrassing part where I'm almost dragged through the door and lose almost my whole life (i.e., the most incredible hot pink feather boa ever invented by humankind!) while escaping from my Uber - they just saw the amazing entrance and they loved it! ๐Ÿ˜‚ It is true: The best part of a pink tutu is how much oomph it adds! Trust me on this!

But, darlings, it wasn't all glitter and sequins in Huyton. I am so about exploring! And as I've mentioned before, my go-to method for exploring? A horse, of course! ๐Ÿด I adore the feel of the wind in my hair and the power beneath my hands! In Huyton, they have a truly magical riding stable tucked away in a peaceful spot that you wouldn't even expect to find, and let's just say that Pink Tutu Sparkles took on a rather majestic horse by the name of โ€œMistyโ€. We rode along a quaint little canal. Did I mention the horses are dressed up? One had on a delightful pink and blue braided horse mane and a little silver flower crown - I have no idea how they make that work, but I was ready to get my selfie on with them. Oh my, darlings, it was perfect, a touch of grace in a landscape filled with character! The countryside was beautiful: the crisp, fresh air blowing against my face... It was a good kind of "countryfied"!

However, all that fancy riding really made me hungry! And honestly, Huyton delivered, as it turns out. So I decided I needed to experience real Britishness and a proper good feed (oh, yes! you have no idea what kind of energy I burn!). After the ride, I wandered to The Old Oak. An iconic pub known throughout the local area! They are known for their delicious meat pies... oh my darlings, it was heaven! And oh boy, the pies... the most generous helpings of the richest gravy I had ever had! You've never experienced real pie until you've tasted what the North cooks up! They weren't shy with the pie and mashed potatoes either! The chef even agreed to bring a bowl of jelly to go with my food... What a great treat! It definitely satisfied my inner foodie... (Let's not discuss the beer; sometimes, you gotta keep it classy). ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ’–

Of course, my time in Huyton wouldn't have been complete without a little ballet! Honestly, this queen just loves a good ballet performance... It was a performance by the "Royal Opera House Ballet" who were in town for their national tour! Youโ€™d think they wouldn't have a decent stage, and no one would appreciate a graceful performance! The music was so beautiful. I especially loved the music for the โ€œSwan Lakeโ€. Even the townspeople looked genuinely shocked and touched! I would say this little corner of the world appreciated it more than we appreciate ballet down south in Derbyshire! Honestly, you can tell thereโ€™s some truly good stuff hidden here in the North if you look hard enough! And, of course, if you let your girl guide the way! ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ’–

By the time it was time to say โ€œfarewellโ€ to Huyton (well, just a farewell for now! This queen will be back! Especially since the hotel I was staying at had a gorgeous vintage vanity mirrorโ€ฆ it was calling my name!), I had discovered that Huyton, my friends, was the most delightfully surprising place ever! Full of history and tradition, a love for performance, with just a touch of "pink" in all the right places! (My Uber driver even let me hang a big sparkly, pink feather boa around the rear view mirror while driving!). And as for the folks of Huyton, well, they definitely left their mark! So incredibly friendly and genuinely appreciative of this Queen and all her sparkle!

So, darlings, Huyton may be a little off the beaten track, but this glamorous queen knows the worldโ€™s a big, pink, glitter-filled playground just waiting to be discovered, one fabulous pink tutu at a time. And when it comes to getting out there and experiencing it, nothing makes me feel like the most fabulous version of myself more than my trusty pink tutu! You wanna know why? Because pink is not just a color, darlings. Itโ€™s a symbol! Itโ€™s about being confident, expressing yourself freely and finding your own style. That's what being Pink Tutu Sparkles is all about.

If you wanna see the rest of this incredible adventure (including pictures! It's going to be the most glamorous trip!), don't forget to check out the Pink Tutu Sparkles website (www.pink-tutu.com!). Weโ€™ve got photos from my latest trip and even a gallery dedicated to my fashion journey (gotta keep you up-to-date with this queenโ€™s evolving look!), so head over and give it a peek! As always, my darlings, keep on shining and let your sparkles be your guide!

And of course, be sure to join me tomorrow for a peek into the world of science and the everyday adventures of yours truly. You wouldn't believe what we discovered in the lab this week, especially when it comes to a very sparkly kind of... fabric! See you then, loves! ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’‹โœจ
