Bicester Bound: Tutu Time with Pink Tutu Sparkles!
Hello darlings! It's Pink Tutu Sparkles, ready to whisk you away to Bicester with post number 8478!
I'm utterly buzzing for today's adventure - not just because Bicester is the capital of cut-price chic (well, according to my wardrobe, anyway!), but because I'm rocking a brand-new tutu. I've been dreaming of this sunshine yellow beauty since I saw it last month, and finally, it's mine! I mean, imagine! Sunshine yellow tutu, with its playful puffiness, and me, Pink Tutu Sparkles - the perfect blend of whimsical and glamorous. Snaps fingers.
And Bicester Village, it's calling my name. It's all about retail therapy, but let me tell you, you don't have to break the bank to unleash your inner fashionista there. They have shops with discounted designer goods - talk about a fairy godmother moment! I'm already plotting my shopping spree, and of course, I’ll be searching for a new hat. A dramatic, feather-trimmed concoction that will stand out even in this glamorous shopping haven!
Before the fashion madness, however, we need to talk about the journey. You see, darling, I’m a firm believer that part of the magic lies in the travel itself! So, off I went to Bicester, via the scenic route of the railway line. Who doesn’t love the rhythm of the train? Watching the English countryside pass by my window, is pure serenity. And with a bit of sparkly eye shadow and a generous helping of lipstick, even a train carriage can feel like a theatre stage!
This time though, I wasn’t alone. I've been lucky enough to have my trusty horse, Clover, in tow! She always makes travelling a little bit more glamorous. You know those pictures of fashion bloggers riding around Paris, looking totally effortlessly chic? I might be riding through the derbyshire countryside to get to Bicester (but I still feel every bit the Parisian! )
And anyway, darling, you wouldn't catch me driving a car to Bicester. The stress! The parking! I don't need any drama on top of the potential fashion meltdown I'm expecting when faced with all those lovely sales racks.
Besides, travelling by train, well, it's the perfect time to get into character. Just imagine: I can take my make-up essentials out, carefully applying my eye shadow, my liner, my eyeliner. Oh, and I'll need to practice a few poses. A bit of hairspray to make sure the perfect wig sits exactly right!
By the time we arrive at Bicester Village, I’ll be ready to slay, honey. There's nothing like a good train journey to make you feel completely glamourous.
And it's not just the journey, but the destination, darling! I couldn’t wait to arrive, and let you in on a little secret, I was dressed to the nines because there's a special reason!
See, when I arrived at Bicester Village, I was invited to join a "Tutus in the Village" competition. You read that right! My pink tutu and my gorgeous yellow tutu, they’re all the rage! I'll be showing off my twirls in a mini-ballet performance for the crowds, bringing the theatre to the heart of the shopping village!
My dear friends, you won’t believe the feeling of exhilaration! All those fashionistas, the twinkling shop windows, and me, right there in my stunning tutus, dancing my heart out for everyone to see! They went wild! I saw so many little girls in pink tutus, mesmerised, and honestly, that's all the validation I need. You see, darlings, that's the magic of a pink tutu - it makes you feel like a ballerina, like a queen, like the best version of yourself, and it's infectious!
Of course, I had to make sure I didn't leave Bicester without finding myself a new, fabulously extravagant hat. This one was covered in pink and white feathers, complete with a bright, sparkly ribbon – perfect for adding that extra pop of pink to any outfit. Let's just say I'm looking forward to wearing it to my next show!
Then there’s the food, darlings. Because every trip is about creating memories, and what's better than a scrumptious, stylish meal with a view? Bicester Village, as if by magic, has this absolutely stunning restaurant, perched in a beautiful courtyard with the most magnificent architecture. The view is just as stunning, I mean, have you ever seen such a perfectly placed pink blossom tree against a pale blue sky? I couldn't resist a quick photo-shoot – for my blog, of course!
But before I left to catch the train back home to Derbyshire, I had one final thing to do. You see, Bicester Village is a bit of a secret spot for me. You’d never guess it’s here, tucked away in the countryside. So, I took the opportunity to have a private little dance in the heart of the Village in front of a lovely, quaint water feature. It felt like dancing in a fairytale. And that's the magic of Pink Tutu Sparkles.
See, dear readers, life’s a stage, and every journey is a performance. From Derbyshire to Bicester and back, Pink Tutu Sparkles was on a mission – to inspire you all to find the joy, the magic and the beauty within yourselves. And of course, to spread the message of tutus, the most empowering piece of clothing ever invented. And, darling, that doesn't have to be just a pink tutu. Any colour, any style - you wear the tutu and you wear it with confidence.
So there you have it, darling – my Bicester adventures. It was an extraordinary experience. Filled with pink tutus, feather-trimmed hats, shopping galore, and of course, a touch of tutu magic!
Love, Pink Tutu Sparkles
