Let's rewind, shall we? I boarded a train straight from Derbyshire, a journey filled with anticipation. The anticipation wasn't for the trip, darling, no no, it was for the pink tulle wonderland that was awaiting me in Great Yarmouth! Now, I've been to seaside towns before, but Great Yarmouth is on another level of fun. The vibrant atmosphere, the candy-coloured amusement rides, the salty sea breeze – everything just screamed “Pink Tutu Sparkles!”
You see, dear readers, the ocean and I have a long-standing love affair. I've been going to the seaside with my family since I was a little girl (don’t tell my parents I use the term ‘girl’ for this! 😉 It makes me chuckle) – so you could say it's ingrained in my DNA! It's no surprise that I decided to combine my love of seaside escapades with a little Pink Tutu Sparkles magic.
And, let me tell you, the performance went down a storm! I channeled all the energy and vibrancy of Great Yarmouth, with a pinch of seaside charm. You might be wondering, “What exactly did you perform?” well, darling, I was a whirling, twirling pink dream in my dazzling sequined tutu! It was all glitter, glamour and glorious pink, the perfect recipe for an unforgettable night.
The best part about travelling to the seaside is getting to embrace the child within, and indulge in a spot of retro fun. I mean, how can you resist a game of bingo or a trip to the amusement arcade, even if you do end up with a questionable amount of furry, glowing teddy bears. (Let’s not talk about how many cuddly toys were added to my collection). 😉
On the way, the train journey was something else! I've been travelling by train lately, much more sustainable and allows me to admire the countryside (even the boring, industrial bits! 💖). But this journey was like something out of a dream. Rolling green hills, little villages dotted about, the train journey felt almost magical. I mean, how often do you get to experience the English countryside whilst wearing a flamboyant pink tutu?
This entire trip was about living my best life. From the vibrant seaside town to the beautiful train ride, it was pure joy. You see, my dear friends, Pink Tutu Sparkles is all about embracing life’s little joys. Sometimes that means hitting the road (by train, preferably) with nothing but my fabulous tutu and a heart full of love. 💖✨
You know me, darling, always up for an adventure. So, what are my travel plans for next week? Hmm... let's see! How about a weekend getaway to a quaint little cottage in the heart of the Cotswolds, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature? I bet I can find a fab vintage shop too, and a ballet performance for good measure, for some elegant and artistic inspiration! What’s that, you say? Maybe a ride on a carriage horse too?! Oh, how delicious!
