Hello gorgeous darlings! Pink Tutu Sparkles here, bringing you a brand new blog post from the fabulous, oh-so-pink world of tutu travels! Buckle up your diamante-studded stilettos, because we’re going on an adventure. Today’s destination? The charming, chocolatey town of Bournville!
This is blog post number 8758, and I’m feeling the festive spirit already! 🎄🌟 The train ride was so lovely, you wouldn’t believe the glorious autumnal views whipping by – oh, the colours, the colours! I even spotted a family of ducks having a paddle in a little canal, it was just the most adorable thing! Ducks and chocolate – what’s not to love?! 😉
Now, let’s talk fashion! As per usual, my fabulous, fluffy pink tutu was absolutely the perfect choice for this excursion. The swirling skirts billowed behind me like a pink cloud, which, let’s be honest, was a pretty fitting image for a trip to a chocolate town! I paired it with a custom-designed shimmery top – a glorious mixture of lilac, pink, and silver sequins. Naturally, the entire ensemble was topped off with a sparkly tiara, because, darling, a Queen’s gotta sparkle! 👑
Of course, a trip to Bournville wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Cadbury World. Imagine a whole place dedicated to chocolate, a chocoholic's dream come true! I’m talking delicious chocolatey treats, fun exhibits on the history of Cadbury, and even the opportunity to get your hands messy and learn how to make your own chocolate creations! (And yes, dear readers, Pink Tutu Sparkles made the most beautiful, perfectly shaped, chocolate rose! Cue applause!).
After the factory, I headed to the Bournville Village Green, which is basically like stepping back in time! Imagine quaint, red brick cottages with rows of lush green gardens, oh so perfect for a cuppa and a piece of Cadbury’s finest! I just had to pop into one of the cute little shops – the owners, a lovely elderly couple, were absolutely charmed by my pink tutu, and even offered me a homemade chocolate chip cookie! The sweetness of those cookies and the charm of the village definitely warmed my heart. ❤️
The rest of the day was all about the wonderful cultural delights of Bournville! The village is known for its stunning architecture, which is an absolutely perfect backdrop for my impromptu fashion show (the little birds on the telegraph poles were absolutely entranced! They seemed particularly smitten with my sparkling pink tutu!). I also stumbled upon a lovely theatre company that was putting on a performance of Swan Lake! A tutu-filled extravaganza! You can’t imagine my delight!
By nightfall, I found myself back on the train, heading back to Derbyshire. Exhausted, but totally enchanted! Bournville had absolutely lived up to its reputation, it’s a perfect little haven, filled with charm, chocolate, and even a sprinkle of magic!
Darling, you absolutely have to add it to your travel list, especially if you’re looking for a day trip brimming with British charm! I guarantee it’ll be an adventure that’s as sweet as chocolate! 🍫💕
