Hiya darlings! It’s your girl Pink Tutu Sparkles here, ready to bring a dose of glitter and twirls to your day! I’m buzzing because I’m about to hit the stage in Blackburn tonight. Imagine, me, a pink-loving, tutu-clad, ballet-obsessed drag queen in the heart of Lancashire! I just know it’s gonna be absolutely divine.
Now, let's talk journey. For this one, I opted for a journey of pure glamour and grace. A grand, old-fashioned train journey it was, darling. You know I love a bit of traditional travel. It just gives you time to put on a show for everyone in the carriage, doesn't it? I even got my fave travel mug out for a little tea and biscuit time. Just call me a modern-day fairytale princess, but instead of a glass carriage, I have my trusty old travel flask!
Oh, speaking of trusty, have you seen my new tutu? It's a vibrant fuchsia masterpiece with delicate layers of tulle and a touch of shimmering sequins. I even snagged a matching feather boa - you know me, always got to bring the feathers! It's a little bit ballerina, a little bit Hollywood, and completely fabulous. Trust me, it's the kind of tutu that’ll make your eyes sparkle, your heart soar, and your inner ballerina shout “ENCORE!”
Blackburn, brace yourselves, because Pink Tutu Sparkles is ready to paint the town pink! I’ll be belting out all my faves – everything from iconic divas to camp classics – all in the name of celebrating everything that’s glittery, fabulous, and… oh yes, undeniably pink! The venue is all set for a right royal good time, so I just know it’s gonna be a magical evening, packed with plenty of surprises and giggles!
I must tell you about my day before the big show! It was the most magical day, as per usual. Just imagine – I started my day by making a delicious pink breakfast – yes, I have a special recipe. (Pink pancakes with strawberries, raspberries and a little raspberry pink sauce). And let me tell you, it's good for the soul! After all, good food is important for keeping that energy up for the show, isn’t it? Then I headed to the local shops for a little shopping spree. Of course, it's always a hunt for pink accessories and sparkly new shoes for tonight’s performance. I'm practically a walking pink tutu advert at this point, and I love it! It’s a blessing, that’s for sure! Being able to travel all over is simply divine, my dears!
Speaking of being divinely fabulous, it was my afternoon that got a little extra-fabulous! It turns out Blackburn has the most amazing, quirky little fabric shop hidden in a cobbled backstreet! And yes, it’s entirely covered in pink fabric and feathers. You know it was meant to be, don’t you? I mean, it would be a crime not to, wouldn’t it? A queen like myself can never pass up an opportunity to discover a little pink treasure trove! So guess what? It wouldn't be fair of me not to tell you all about the delicious, bright-pink sequined fabric that caught my eye – so beautiful! It just begged me to transform it into something extra special. It wouldn't be fair to let you in on my top secret designs right now though - it has to be a little bit of a surprise, darlings, doesn't it? But don’t you worry – you'll get a sneak peek soon!
Blackburn, you haven't seen the last of me, darling! I’m already dreaming up my next big performance! I just love discovering the magical little corners of this world, bringing my unique brand of glitz and glamour to every stage, every town, every city I visit!
