Edgware: The Pinkest Place on Earth! đŠ°đ
Hello my gorgeous darlings! It's your favourite TutuQueen, Pink Tutu Sparkles, signing in live from the utterly fabulous Edgware! ⨠This is blog post number 8889, and I'm so excited to share my adventures with you.
Edgware is a right little gem, hidden in the suburbs of London. You might think it's all about beige and bus stops, but oh, honey, you haven't seen the pink power of a TutuQueen on the scene!
Getting There:
This time, I went old school and took the train. I absolutely adore train journeys, itâs a fabulous excuse to get all dolled up. And believe me, for a Pink Tutu Queen like myself, getting dolled up is not an option - itâs a requirement!
It's amazing how the countryside zips by as youâre travelling through, everything from rolling green hills to sprawling fields, making you forget youâre in a busy metropolis! I swear, even the pigeons wore pink feather boas. It's enough to make any girl (or drag queen!) go giddy with delight.
Pink Princess Performance:
And speaking of getting giddy with delight, Edgware itself has been quite the delightful destination! It has that âjust found a vintage tea shop and an amazing cupcake stand on a hidden back streetâ feel.
Tonight was my big performance at the local pub, âThe Cheeky Swanâ, an absolute riot! Everyone was wearing the pinkest outfits Iâd ever seen in my life - from hot pink hoodies to flamingo feather boas, they really had the pink spirit. I honestly thought I'd walked into one of my daydreams.
You wouldnât believe how many little boys in the crowd were totally into my act! They were cheering, clapping, even yelling âGo TutuQueen!â - such a riot! My mission of world domination - or rather, tutu-fication, I should say - is going better than I ever imagined.
But it wasn't all about me, babes! My amazing performance, the fab-tastic music (a whole set dedicated to the glorious Dolly Parton, obviously!), the cheering crowds⌠It was enough to make a girl want to twirl. (And twirl I did!) I had everyone dancing on the dancefloor. And the best part? I even got to try one of those gorgeous cupcakes - and the bakery called the pink icing, âPink Tutu Sparklesâ icing! Iâll never forget that.
TutuQueen Style Tip of the Day:
Always carry a spare pink tutu! You never know when youâll bump into an amazing person or situation needing a touch of pink sparkle. This week it was for a group of kids who came to the performance wanting to âhave their own TutuQueen moments!â Theyâre still raving about their dance lesson with Pink Tutu Sparkles â and they were only ten minutes long!
Pink Power Trip:
But hold your tutus, ladies and gents! My time in Edgware isnât over just yet! I'm still scouring this fabulous little town for more pink wonders, I might just stay on for a while and enjoy a little ballet at the âEdgware Playhouseâ! Nothing makes me more thrilled than the classic combination of pink and ballet. Plus, after my incredible performance, itâs time for some relaxation!
Edgware has a fantastic market which is bursting with fabulous fashion, and oh darling, I found some amazing outfits for my upcoming performances, including a glorious sequined gown. But first, I'm heading to a delightful little shop called âFancy Frillsâ to indulge in a fabulous pink tutu. I have to replace my travel tutu - it took a bit of a tumble during the show tonight!
If youâre looking for a bit of fabulousness that is anything but boring, Iâd suggest popping over to Edgware â itâs an absolute hidden gem for all things pink, just like myself!
Stay fabulous, my loves. Iâll be posting more photos and updates soon from my adventures in this amazing, pink haven!
Pink Tutu Sparkles xoxoxo.
Ps: Keep those tutus twirling, and always remember to wear your pink sparkle! Lifeâs too short to be anything other than your best self, babe.
