This weekend, I'm diving headfirst into the pinkest, most magical adventure ever. After weeks of planning, I'm ready to take Eltham by storm with my one-of-a-kind pink tutu extravaganza!
Remember that time I told you about the time I tried on a pink tutu for charity? I never thought it'd become my life's calling - and believe me, it's been a whirlwind! This fabulous tutu lifestyle keeps me busier than a bee in a honeysuckle bush! 💖
As you know, I'm all about embracing those quirky, fabulous moments that life throws our way, and this trip's no exception. I mean, what's life without a little sparkle and a whole lot of pink? Right?! I'm all set to charm my way through this beautiful town, performing in a few lovely spots – more on that later!
You guys know me, I live for a good train journey! There's just something so special about the click-clack-clack of the wheels on the tracks as the countryside rushes by. I love soaking up the views – especially the rolling Derbyshire hills. I've always thought Derbyshire's so picturesque. It's my happy place, even when I'm dressed in lab coats during the day! But come nighttime, it’s Pink Tutu Sparkles ready to rule the world of dazzling entertainment! ✨
Today's outfit is a masterpiece of tulle, glitter and glam! This particular tutu is a limited edition – imagine! - inspired by my favourite ballet, Swan Lake! My favourite shade of pink, with delicate sequins and feathers! Honestly, it's almost too much to bear – I could wear it for days! And to match, a perfectly pink hat – you know, the type you see at Wimbledon, but a lot more extravagant. Let's just say, my arrival will be noticed – you'll hear my signature clack-clack on the pavement before you even see me! 💖
Pink Paradise Adventures: A Day in Eltham!
Let me take you on a behind-the-scenes tour of this gorgeous town:
Eltham Palace: A Tudor Palace of Dreams – As a fashion queen, I couldn't resist the charm of the stunning Eltham Palace. Imagine: timber-framed buildings, hidden courtyards and majestic gardens! You know I love those gardens. What would I do without all those places to strut my stuff? 😉 It’s my catwalk, right?! And, I must say, this place had me feeling like I’d just stepped onto the stage at a royal ballet. The elegance, the craftsmanship... well, I had to make a beeline for the pinkest of pink flowers and snap a few pics. The colour palette just seemed made for Pink Tutu Sparkles.
Royal Standard – The Grandest of Teas: My sweet tooth was crying out for something absolutely decadent after touring that gorgeous palace! We are talking afternoon tea, darling! What else is a queen to do? I have to say, Eltham’s Royal Standard lived up to its regal name! So much scrumptious cake and creamy scones – my goodness, it's like a feast for the eyes. 🍰 Every delicate detail – the pretty crockery, the flowers, the view – had me feeling like I'd stepped out of a fairytale. And you just know I’d have loved a slice of everything if there hadn’t been my stage clothes to wear – always the perfect silhouette! Don’t worry, I definitely made up for it with a whole pot of tea! And the biggest slice of the prettiest Victoria sponge I have ever seen! I was a perfect English rose, surrounded by all things dainty. It’s like you have all the posh parts of Derbyshire with that elegant Royal feel – I loved it! Oh, and you know I made a couple of new friends at that lovely little tea shop, sharing fashion tips and spreading tutu-joy!
Eltham's Village Vibe - Street Performers, Tutu Style! - After my luxurious tea, it was time to bring some Pink Tutu magic to Eltham’s streets! You know me! You can always spot me walking around the quaint little shops. Imagine the cobbles and the little independent stores! I’m a little bit in love with that town.
I’m not kidding! This gorgeous little village is an absolute charmer, and I just knew it was calling out for a touch of my unique blend of style. It wasn’t long before I caught the eye of some friendly locals – some of whom just loved my sparkly getup. We talked about all things fashion and they even dared me to strike my best ballerina pose. Well, naturally, I didn’t disappoint. We had the best little fashion show and you should’ve heard those ladies gasp in appreciation! My performance had them literally in tears. You just gotta see how well those sequins shine on the cobbles. ✨
- Eltham Market – An Inspiration for a Tutu Queen: Now, where there's a vibrant market, you'll find me, diving headfirst into the dazzling displays of colours and fabrics. It was like a real-life colour-palette, you guys! I can’t believe how many fabulous stalls they have. I love sniffing around vintage shops, and a little peek into the shops at all the fabulously unique little details on offer in this little town, a real hidden gem for my next costume design! My vision for a fabulous new tutu design came into clear focus – just wait for you to see what I've conjured up with these fresh, fab finds!
